Berkshire Valley Golf Course

This is the third time I’ve played the course. The vistas are amazing. Honestly there’s not one bad hole of the entire 18 holes. However bring your B+ game, because anything else you’re gonna lose a boatload of golf balls. Course there’s a good chance you might find a boatload of golf course too. I will play again

Very interesting layout. Wasn’t expecting as much water. Fairways were ample. Greens were large hitting to the right section paramount and greens weren’t as fast as practice green. Conditions were very good. Definitely a good bargain and definitely will be back.

I’ve played Berkshire a few times, and it’s always solid. Conditions were perfect, but the bunkers need A LOT of work. They are either overgrown by weeds, or all rocks. Everything else is perfect! Great layout!

By far one of my favorite courses in northern New Jersey.

Beware of the starter! He will bite your head off gotta have thick skin dealing with him. He’s yelled at me every time I’m there treats a twilight round like a 7:30 am tee time and trump national.

First time I played here I got to Club house at 5:20 they told me I’m teeing of at 5:50. I take my time to get my clubs and a few drinks. I come to the carts around 5:40 to load up. Starter is no where to be found. Next thing he come flying down from the hill with his golf cart demanding who I am and my tee time. I said who I was and my time. Starter began screaming at me saying I’m late and that my time was 5:40. He already sent us out and was looking for me. Said I’m not going to get out now. Since a 4 some is at 5:50. First of all I was here at 5:20. Second it’s twilight golf. I’ll skip the first hole and catch up with the people he sent out. Guy was flustered blew his mind that instead of sending me home I could just skip the first hole.

Since he’s rude every time I think he just might have a issue. I’ve gotten used to it.

This course is one of the best courses in the NJ county system. Every hole is challenging even for the best golfers. The scenic view and playing the front nine along the ridge that the back nine that flows into the valley was fantastic. Course conditions were great as well and the round was completed in 4 hours and 15 minutes. .

It’s been about 15 years since I’ve played this course . In that time the course has really developed nicely . No two holes play the same . Challenging but fair . The beer cart leaving at 5 pm needs to change though!!!! Nothing better than a twighlite Tee time & a few cold ones

Course was in great condition greens have nice pace. We were a foursome and played in under 4 hours. Played here many times and it did not disappoint

greens were a bit slow today given the wet weather but this is a great course that shouldn't be overlooked. it is a very fun layout with challenging holes 245 yard par 3 and 275 yard par 4 that plays downhill were standout holes. I hear the greens typically run faster. there are moderate forced carries on a few holes and fairways are pretty wide for the most part but definitely challenge you on other holes.
