Nice, old established course
They were short staffed when we checked in and confusion reigned for a while until we found our other couple. The layout is very enjoyable if you can hit a straight ball.Otherwise you will have problems. Carts have no GPS and the course is poorly marked for distances. You definitely need some kind of app or range finder.. Sand traps are in abundance (Iwas in most of them). The fairways were cut too short for my taste but that is typical for the local courses. Greens are the nicest condition of the courses we have played locally. They are moderately slow and easy to read too much break. There is no ranger staff on the course to keep pace of play going so if you get stuck behind slow play you just suffer. That's a lot of negative comments but really the course is a decent place to play. Most of my negativity comes from the fact I had a poor round. I would definitely play it again.

Fairways not good - greens are excellent

Very Nice Day
It's a course with a friendly and professional staff looking to ensure you have a great experience. The course can be challenging, and choosing the correct tees are important for enjoying the day. You will hear many airplanes and even a helicopter, taking off and landing during your round. But that is to be expected as the community is known as the Fly In. The course is in fair shape with a few greens needing some invasive grass removed. The fairways are cut tight and the rough is typical Florida style. Target golf front the tee is the thought to keep in mind for having a good approach shot.

Top Notch
Green conditions are probably the best in the county with the exception of LPGA. Super friendly staff as well. The pace of play was nearly perfect. Had to wait on a few tee boxes at first but got waived through by the slower group of obviously new golfers. One caveat, if it has been raining an unusual amount, the back nine will be very soggy and cart path only. This most recent round was soggy, but conditions still got five stars, because when it hasn't been monsooning, it's definitely five star qualtiy.

We had great weather to play 18, good pace after the first couple holes. I’ve played this course several times over the past 5 years, 3 golfing with me never played it, but loved it. Greens hard and fast. Fairways getting better each day with some rain and warmer conditions.
Starter very friendly and helpful.
Dinner afterwards at Downwind Cafe.

Greens are in great condition
The course is in better condition then when I played it 6 weeks ago. The greens are very true and moderately fast.

Conditions need attention
The greens are really very nice, good speed and smooth. The tees are terrible, the fairways are below average, the teams are good. Pace was fine for us, range is nice. Wish the tees and fairways matched the greens. I give it an average rating due to good greens and descent layout. Can't play the ball down here. Cost was $50...should be $30 for conditions.

pace of play was ridiculous. No course supervision. called the pro shop and Roy said that's just the way it is here. By the 5th hole we had a foursome, 2 twosome and a threesome all on the same hole. BYE BYE

Greens overall in good shape , much better than some of the other local courses. Tees and traps also in good shape , some of the fairways a Bit thin in areas other areas good . Staff was extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with.
