ONE OF THE BEST MUNIS AROUND
GERAT LAYOUT BEST CONDITIONS GREENS WERE GREAT FUN TO PLAY WOULD HIHLY RECOMEND
5-some
Course is in good shape. The issue is that they let 5-somes go out, why? We were a 2-some and were stuck behind 5 players. After 2 holes they let us pass, which was nice. 3 holes later we ran into another 5 players. This turned into a 5 hr round. 1 final comment; the old man at check in is terrible. He would not us go out because there was another person scheduled for our tee time.We waited an additional 30 min to tee off because there was another golfer set to our tee time. This person never showed up.
Fun course
I was on my own and the clubouse allowed me to go out as a single as the course was not busy. That was very kind of them. Didn't see another golfer until the 11th hole. Very interesting course with sand and water hazards that are avoidable. #4 has a forced carry but if you hit your drive well enough, it's not difficult. Greens are good. Not too fast. Some of the greens need work. Otherwise, course is in good shape. Would play again.
Hidden Gem
Wonderful course with well maintained fairways, tee boxes and fast greens. Staff was super friendly and helpful
Very understanding staff
Was caught in huge traffic jam which caused me to be an hour late for tee time. Upon arrival, staff got my pair on course almost immediately
Vacation Golf
The course was in rough shape....Tee boxes were in bad shape. Greens were good not great. Coke machines did not give correct change. (Not that this has anything to do with the course conditions). Give the course a 6 out of 10.
GOOD MUNI
PLAYED HERE SEVERAL TIMES ALWAYS FOUND COURSE TO BE IN NICE SHAPE WITH A FRIENDLY WELCOME I RECOMEND IT ANY TIME
Rain Out
From CT, last day in Florida, decided to play this course. Rain was unexpected. We played first hole in light Rain, but started pouring rain. Went in got lunch , was very good. 45 min of hard Rain they shut down the course. Played 1 hole would not offer refund, gave credit, but only good for 1 month. Basically paid 45 dollars for 1 hole.
Punched Greens - but we were warned.
My Friday group loves this course but in the last year their rates have skyrocketed to be out of reach. We jumped at the opportunity to play for $35 knowing the greens were punched 11 days prior. They were puttable but the speed was a little uneven. The rest of the course was in what I would call "good municipal" shape, meaning not a prime golf course but reasonably well taken care of. The fairways were a little tight generally but everything was playable, including the traps.
Great layout and nice people, and a first class restaurant on premises.
Love the course
Great layout. Greens were just rarified, so not the best experience yesterday. But, course is a great value, and a good test of golf.
Slow on Back side
Play was VERY slow on the back nine because there was a group of 6 plying together. Probably 'members' of locals, but still course needs to prevent this. As we played 13 noticed on14 that there were 4 carts together. A group of 4 were waiting of on the tee. I counted 6 players within those 4 counts. As I waited on 15 noticed them tee off on 16. We were 2 and understand having to wait some, but not for a group of 6. Course needs to stop this action however they can
