The Club at Venetian Bay

Average conditions. Greens punched and more of a beach than a green. Bunkers unplayable, had to take drops. Great layout but I think they’re gearing up to receive the snow birds so locals are second rate. The rate drop was the right thing to do, thanks! Would play again but only with the rate drop.

Greens were punched at the end of the week, so very sandy. The rest of the course was in fair condition. Lots of weeds and traps are not taken care of at all. Could be a good track but conditions are not great.

The guy in the club house did give us a rain check to play under better conditions. I give them major props for that.

It sucked. No warning on aeration. More sand than the beach. 9 holes closed. Sucked big time. Play somewhere else.

The coarse was is great shape. Greens were awesome. Staff is very friendly

This is a really nice course, but it has very little shade. It makes it rough on the hot muggy days.. We played on a hot muggy day with The fairways being extremely wet, so we could not go onto the fairways with the golf cart. It made play a little bit longer, but it was a great value for the money. They were aerating the front nine so we had to play the back nine twice, which isn’t all that cool. Overall. Nice course.

This i sone of my favorite courses in y area and I am always excited to play. If you like freedom off the tee box you will love this course.

The course was in pretty good shape except that it had lots of unwanted grass and weeds in the fairways. The only real probably had where there were grass cutters on the 17th and 18th fairway.

Great course conditions and the pace of play was excellent will definitely go back.

Local here. Played this course plenty of times, and my expectations are pretty low since it’s hit rough times in the past.

The course is interesting enough but the traps are full of water, and even though the cart paths have been paved the areas around the path are very rutted and full of holes. It wouldn’t take much to fix this, but I doubt they care.

My biggest concern is management and their attitude. We are under an extreme heat advisory, yet there was literally ZERO water on the course. When we called to let the clubhouse know that they were out of water, the person on the phone gave excuses and hung up on us. Plenty of people mowing on half the holes, and a trash crew emptying cans, so if you like heat stress, lack of even basics like drinking water or a beverage cart, then this is your course! If empty garbage cans and mowers in your landing area are your thing during a round, then it’s money well spent. My money is going elsewhere.

Love this course and the staff is great. Haven't golfed here in about 2 years. Nice practice area, but I liked hitting off the grass better then the mats. Practice balls are VERY pricey. 12.00 for a small bucket was ridiculous in my opinion. Only negative of the day

They have turned most of the sand traps into ponds/water hazards. Very unusual.
