This course is always in great shape. The greens are always in great condition. The only better course in Volusia county in my opinion is LPGA.
Wonderful time at Crane Lakes
The staff was very friendly and professional. The golf course was in nice condition and well maintained. Greens had a good pace and true. Enjoyable sunny day at Crane Lakes. High recommend playing if you’re in the area.
Lots of water !
This course was in excellent condition from
Tees to Fairway to Green. Problem the best course I played in the area even better than LPGA. Tons of water on basically every hole. Lots of forced carry over water hazards. Greens were fast and true but had to be super careful not to 3 putt. Sand bunkers were groomed and bright white. Will definitely return next year.

Shot decisions are key
Water everywhere and u need to make decisions if you are going for it or laying up. Blow up holes will happen

Loved the condition and course layout. The shortness is deceiving.
Very cold and windy conditions limited our experience.
Staff
I traveled over an hour to play this course yesterday, the good was the conditions were great on course and lace of play was good. The bad is staff the 2 starters make impossible to ask any type of questions when they just talk over you. The restaurant took 38 min to make 2 chicken salad wraps . I wouldn't drive back there for another round unless the staff became easier to talk with .

I just golfed Florida’s Best maintained golf course! Don’t let the shortness of the course fool you; it is challenging for all levels of golfers. Go play it and you will return again and again.

Playing out at this course was a blast, lots of fun holes and a creative design. Staff was extremely kind.
What a wonderful par 66. Great variety of holes, some were extremely tight, putting a premium of hitting it on line and controlling flight. Because of the extra par 3s it's a great place to work on your irons. I'm a professional golfer and a college golf coach. I took my team there prior to an event and we all really enjoyed it. The Pro and his staff were fantastic! Its well worth playing..
