Abergele Golf Club

From booking the hot deal to having a bite to eat at the end of the round, everything at AGC was a great experience. We got on for £16 each to begin with which was excellent in itself, and then we were welcomed in the pro shop by all the staff, even allowing us to go out before our tee time.

Club members and green staff on course were very nice and happy to chat.

Course is in fantastic condition, and the layout is fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed every hole, and the last two holes were the pinnacle.

Played well too scoring 40points which included 6 birdies!!

The catering and bar staff were also really nice and welcoming.

We will 100% be back soon.

If you get the chance to play this course, don’t even hesitate, pure quality

Wide open and flat course, great for a group of 30+ handicappers like ourselves. Had the perfect weather for it, friendly staff and a good atmosphere on the course talking to a few of the local members. Will definitely be playing this course again in the near future.

Really enjoyable round of golf. Staff in the shop were friendly and welcoming. Course is in lovely condition for the time of year. Only gripe was nearly every green was patchy, very bobbly and need work to get them ready for the new season.. However, the scenery and the great variation of hilrs more than makes up for it. Love the 'pro's tips' on each hole...I suggest you read and follow them!

I'll ne looking to try the course later in the year when its dry and sunny.....give the hreenkeepers time to repair the greens too!

Frozen greens with the ball bouncing anywhere but still an enjoyable round of golf

I play Abergele 2 or 3 times a year, and it is my favourite course. Views are great, course is well set out and excellently maintained.

Simply lovely plenty in the tank for this one . Nice straight lines played with some pensioners from benidorm

Played the course on a lovely Autumn afternoon. The colours on the tree lined fairways were stunning and the views of the Castle shrouded in a low mist added to the the course surrounds. The course itself was well maintained with lots of long wide fairways with plenty of variety over the 18 holes.. The greens had recently been treated but still very playable. All in all a great days golf and we will visit again 👍🏌️‍♂️

Smashing course staff very friendly the only downside was the greens had been scarified so not as true or fast as usual but by no means did it detract from the game

Something for everyone to enjoy whatever your abilities try and play before winter sets in you won’t be disappointed

1st, 17th & 18th holes are really good but the other 15 are basic up and down tree lined parkland holes so nothing special. Hot summer has taken its toll on the greens as they were not great.

Clubhouse food and service was really good and worth a visit but course on the average side.

Arrived an hour early so we could get some food and did not disappoint very friendly staff.members at the course very friendly and pointed you in the right direction beautiful location and stunning scenery greens very fast green keepers have do e a fantastic job well done and keep it up.
