Tree lined parkland course under the shadow of a large castle. Good test of golf and fairways were not too narrow.
Course and greens were in very good condition. Warm welcome at the pro shop.
Good Value for Money in Conwy.
Enjoyed 18 holes on a well prepared course. Pace was a bit slow as a two ball and due to a Society of 4 balls in front but still completed in 4 1/2 hours. Lovely food after we played and all the staff (pro shop and catering) were very friendly. Had not played for some 20 years but would come again if in the area.
Great Course
This is one of my favourite courses in great condition and really dry considering the rain we have had

Abergele Golf
A great parkland course always enjoy playing here, great setting. A little wet under foot after all the rain but green still in great condition. I must keep my ball on the fairway as those leaves in the rough and under the trees eat golf balls.
I will be back , such a good deal the best around this area
Great golf
Fabulous course in great condition in great parkland location
My favourite in north wales
Nice course and enoyable round
Have played at Abergele before and enjoyed it. It has a good variety of holes and some lovely views. The start and end is more undulating and adds to the challenge! The course was reasonably quiet, given it was a Monday I guess, so we got around without any issues. The course was obviously soft after all the recent rain but played okay - some mud balls, but that is to be expected. Greens were okay (played them better) but with lots of worm casts and running at a reasonable speed. Fairways hadn't been cut, I guess because of the wet weather, but not long as such, and the bunkers were very compact and in need of a rake / turnover. The only point which I recall from last time was the tees still need some work with leveling or at least filling in divots with seed mix etc. We had a drink in the bar after and enjoyed the views. Overall a good round.
It’s Lush
Lovely course very forgiving. Stunning location below Gwrych Castlel (I’m a celeb fame) and very friendly. Course was in immaculate condition. Loved playing here.
Golf
Excellent course I’d like to know the course conditions in the winter
Wow wow wow
What a fabulous course, from the minute we arrived with the impressive castle in the background and the equally impressive clubhouse that was welcoming and friendly in equal measures.
The pro team were helpful getting us out a little earlier than we had planned and gave us a few top tips.
The course was in great condition, the fairways east to play off, the rough was lush and did require a lofted club (as it should do) so a premium on finding the short stuff. The greens were quick, with subtle borrows and all the same pace.
If your ever in north wales playing golf Abergele is a must,
Lovely straight forward course nothing hard but decent enough , spoilt by club captain being petty telling us off for changing in car then pushing in our tee time with no notice !! Shame he couldn’t have a word with the 6 ball in front of us drinking & going at a snails pace , we gave up on 14th …..
Great golf

Great value best in the area
Wil lplay here again and consider joining
