About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Always a Pleasure
Lakeview is not the longest, plushest, or fanciest place around. However, it is a great executive course in excellent condition. The layout challenges you to hit every club in the bag, The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Alex, the starter today, was new to me but we immediately struck up a conversation and he took care of everything. I keep coming back so it must be a place I enjoy being.
Lakeview
We always like to play here but on 8/14 it was really buggy for whatever reason. Like you couldn’t go 3 seconds without bugs buzzing in your ear/mouth/etc. Maybe it’s the time of the year, I’m not sure. But there were a lot of distractions. The course was extremely backed up as well. There were like 11 people in a 30 minute tee time window behind us, so the people were pestering us a lot, even though the people in front of us were slow. We were following the pace of play.
Let us first say that we are so glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. We work hard to create an enjoyable experience so you can focus on enjoying yourself and let us do the rest. We also want to thank you for your honest and constructive criticism of the course.
We are going to escalate your review to our team in charge and do everything we can to improve before your next game.
Thank you for visiting and playing at Lakeview Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon!
Bugs in your Face
Is pest control prioritized? It’s tough and frustration to play with bugs in your face all day.
Thank you for taking the time to review us, and for the 3 stars. We're sorry to hear the course may not have been in the best shape on the day of your round. We appreciate your feedback as we work to make any necessary improvements. Thank you for choosing to golf with us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon at Lakeview Golf Club.
You get what you pay for
This course is just what you need when you want to practice your short game and still have some challenges. There are a couple tough par 3s and most other holes are good enough to get rewarded for good shots. The price is just about right for the course.
A nice Executive course
Let's face it, a summer round in south Florida isn't going to be packed. I went out as a single sandwiched between a 3some and 2some. I played here several times during the winter. Good short game practice.
Fun Time
Even though it is brutally hot, the past two weeks there has been a delightful breeze so it has’nt been unbearable. The greens were aerated a couple of weeks ago so the greens are in great shape. As for pace of play it’s been great. Finished 18 holes in an hour and a half. What could be better? Love playing in the summer

Nice if you’re working on distance w/your irons
I’ve played here several times before. It’s nice if you want work on distance control for short and mid irons, but it was in terrible condition.
Not even for free
The greens r in poor condition only worse r the fairways
