Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

city owned course so maintenance could use a bump, greens are patchy, fairways are mostly good with a sandy island on occasion, good value, staff is great, short but challenging little course with a few risk/reward holes.
Two ladies and a golf cart
We decided to start the winter off with a warm up at Lakeview. It's an executive course with lots of par 3's, and a few par 4's stuck in for good measure. It was relatively easy course, with two or three challenging decisions...hit over or up to the water. The signage was not that good, and once we got confused where to make the turn. It seems like there were carts all over on the 1st 9. The back 9 was much better. It's a recommended course to get back into the groove.
Enjoyable
Having played this course many times have always been pleased playing here. It’s always a challenge. Staff constantly very friendly and courteous.

The course is oK, but the staff is friendly, the pace is excellent, and it is very relaxing.
I would certainly play there again.
Very enjoyable
Have always been well satisfied playing this course. My only concern was pace of play was very slow & golfers ahead of me were also annoyed A ranger would have been a great help. This will not deter me from returning
Great day
Had a 9 a.m. tee off. Was a twosome. There was a foursome in front of us but since we are fast players the starter let us go in front of them. We see them every week and they didn’t mind. Played the course in an hour and a half. Course. Is in good condition and the staff is great. Another great day in paradise.
Great course
My wife and I are both seniors and this course suits us fine. Shooting our age is terrific for us both and the challenges the course offers is great

Have arrived to FL a a snowbird & anxious to set up a tee time in a couple of days to play this course. My wife & I enjoy playing here & seeing the staff

The course was in really rough shape. Wouldn’t consider playing there again unfortunately
Could be fun being an executive course but just not what I expected
Good course but falls short of expectations
We played with beginners thinking it will provide them a good opportunity to get a feel of playing on the course. It has par 3s and some par 4s which can provide a nice experience. The course conditions however could be improved to reach its potential. The fairways could have been maintained better and the greens were too slow. Swarm of insects hovering around didn’t help. If maintained better, it can be a lovely course for a fast round of golf or for beginners to learn.

Always a Pleasure
Lakeview is not the longest, plushest, or fanciest place around. However, it is a great executive course in excellent condition. The layout challenges you to hit every club in the bag, The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Alex, the starter today, was new to me but we immediately struck up a conversation and he took care of everything. I keep coming back so it must be a place I enjoy being.
Lakeview
We always like to play here but on 8/14 it was really buggy for whatever reason. Like you couldn’t go 3 seconds without bugs buzzing in your ear/mouth/etc. Maybe it’s the time of the year, I’m not sure. But there were a lot of distractions. The course was extremely backed up as well. There were like 11 people in a 30 minute tee time window behind us, so the people were pestering us a lot, even though the people in front of us were slow. We were following the pace of play.
