About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Nice Executive Course
Very flat and fairly easy course. Great for practice and shorter hitters. Everyone is very friendly and the rates are good.

Fix the greens
The greens need to be take care it looks like the holes r cut with a coffee can and putting through lettuce sucks

I miss this course
Being a snowbird will not be returning until the fall & looking forward to coming back to play here. I miss this course & the friendly staff. See you soon
O happy day
The birds are gone and we have our course back. Yes, the summer is extremely hot but you can play the course in 2 hours. On days that it’s overcast it’s a pleasure. As they say “you can’t have everything”. Just make the best of what you have. So for the rounders the summer is the best time to play golf.
Repeat
I have submitted several reviews in past and they are all similar. I find it very suitable for my type of play and look forward to playing again when I return as a snowbird in October. Always pleased with staff very friendly.

Wish the owners would spend some money to improve the tee boxes and fairways.

This is my go to off season course!
I love this course. Is it the greatest? Heck no. However, it is absolutely fine course to play when you haven’t played for a while, all the snowbirds are here and the prices get jacked up and there are too many people playing and it’s hard to get a teatime, and just for an hour around fun game by yourself. This is a great course. I have to agree that the greens could be kept up a bit better but this year they are still so much better than they have been in the past. Give it some time this place is coming back!

Suits me fine
Being a bogey player this course suits me fine. All holes provide me with challenges I desire. This course can use some TLC but again it satisfies my needs. Have always been pleased with the staff as they are always friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning in fall
Greens in poor condition. Worker spraying greens on machine behind us on several holes. Distracting and don’t like the idea of chemicals being sprayed around me or the sounds of the tractors working on the course many times I have played there.

Course was in OK shape. Pace of play was slow but to be expected when you factor in the low cost there seemed to be a lot of beginners or novice players.

Good Elective Course
I’ve played at Lakeview for many years. Susan and the office staff are always friendly and very helpful.
The greens are much better this year.
I enjoy playing there weekly.
good value
greens could use a little love, bumpy & patchy, fairways are good, amenities, are snacks , hot dogs ( when they have them) cold beer & drinks, staff is on point although would like to see the ranger on his making rounds a little more
Always satisfied
Not being a scratch golfer I find this course to satisfy my playing ability. Helps me to play holes according to layout. Course can use TLC. Staff very friendly and courteous.
