About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Another fun day
We’ were a twosome so we were paired with two lovely gentlemen. It worked out well as there was a foursome in front of us. The pace of play was very good as my friend and I were as good as the guys they paired us with. It was quite breezy today and that added to the fun. See you next week.
Course has potential
Date was actually Sunday, 2/28/21.
Pace was extremely slow. Two 4-somes ahead of us were extremely slow. (Two men, two women). The visited rather than teeing off, and walked like snails. Four or 5 holes in front of them were clear. The foursome in front of complained to a course employee and was told the starter spaced out 12 minutes between starts. That wasn’t the problem. They should have been told to skip a hole. 4 groups were piled up behind them.
Regarding the course, the green conditions were very poor, needed to be cut.

Another fun day
Thought I had a later tee time than what I did but they were very nice and got us right out. It was more crowded than usual so the pace was a little slower than we are use to. All in all it was another fun day. Play once a week and love the course.
Do you like hitting the ball 120?
I wouldn’t play here again unless I had to. Saw the reviews and went with it, but the entire course is the same shot. Almost every hole is 100-125 yards. I play par 3s all the time and this one was pretty boring. Par 4s are all, and I mean all drivable. If you wanna work on your wedge game, then this is the course . If you want to hit anything besides your wedges, choose somewhere else. Greens were sand pits too. Staff was friendly and we finished 18 in 3 hours, but other than that bit much else to say.

Watch Out for Other Plyers Balls!
The course design has you teeing off right behind the previous flag. If there are a lot of people on the course you have to be careful not to get hit by the players behind you. This was the case when we played. The course was very backed up. Otherwise, it's a good value for the money and the course is in fairly good shape. It's a short course so don't expect to use your driver much and they don't have a driving range so don't get there too early.

Fun, fun, fun
I play this course once a week. It’s always fun. I’m 84 years young and enjoy the short holes as well as the long ones. They are perfect for me. Also find the staff to be friendly and accommodating. See you next week.
Ranger Needed on Course
This course needs one or more rangers on the course at all times. The pace of play was horrible. No golf etiquette by several groups that created a horrible pace of play. This could be a nice course if they had a ranger on the course.

Really good track for the money
Course condition greatly improved from last year.
Good mixture of 3’s and 4’s. No waiting.
