Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Watch Out for Other Plyers Balls!
The course design has you teeing off right behind the previous flag. If there are a lot of people on the course you have to be careful not to get hit by the players behind you. This was the case when we played. The course was very backed up. Otherwise, it's a good value for the money and the course is in fairly good shape. It's a short course so don't expect to use your driver much and they don't have a driving range so don't get there too early.
Fun, fun, fun
I play this course once a week. It’s always fun. I’m 84 years young and enjoy the short holes as well as the long ones. They are perfect for me. Also find the staff to be friendly and accommodating. See you next week.
Ranger Needed on Course
This course needs one or more rangers on the course at all times. The pace of play was horrible. No golf etiquette by several groups that created a horrible pace of play. This could be a nice course if they had a ranger on the course.

Really good track for the money
Course condition greatly improved from last year.
Good mixture of 3’s and 4’s. No waiting.

Wednesday is always a fun day. It doesn’t matter if I play well or not, always have a good time.

Fun day
Although it was quite cold I was dressed for it . I had a fun round. Always enjoy playing here.
Nice outing on a windy day
We have played Lakeview multiple times this winter. The layout is perfect for golfers of varying skills. The only downside is that the greens are in very rough condition. They appear to be letting the grass grow to fill in , but putting is a challenge since the greens are very slow and bumpy.

Enjoyment
Have played many times at this course and have been pleased with everything however the pace of play at several times is a problem with slower players ahead. Would be better if these players could at least move along by simply keeping their carts moving when they take a shot. Great staff
