About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Horrible course
Do not recommend. Course is like they do not know what sprinklers are. More dirt and sand then grass. Very short and boring corse. Pitching wedge off tee box almost every hole. Staff could be nicer too.
Nasty Woman In Pro Shop
I don't want to mention her by name but my wife and i played sunday at 12:30 pm this woman should not be allowed to interact with paying customer's We love this course to work on our short game but we will never play here again until she is gone We get along with everybody. This woman is a real B and should not be working with the general public.

Not for serious golfers
This used to be a nice exec course to go and time up you’re short game, take the kids out to play and have some fun.
Not sure what happened or why it happened but this course has plummeted. I do see some repairs going on but it’s really unplayable
With so many bare spots, weeds and just about everything else you don’t want to see on a course.
With the Covid 19 shut down most courses are in great shape to reopen but not this one.
I hope they bring it back, it’s cheap but it’s not worth investing the time to play

Getting there
It is a decent neighborhood course. They are working on repairing some of their tee boxes but all of them need repaired. Over all a good course for iron play.

COVID19 issues
Tim was probably the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in customer Service. Even though GolfNow May have messed up and on both website and confirmation, it was listed that I would receive a golf cart: AFTER paying I asked if one of the receipts was for the golf cart and Tim responds “No, there are no carts after 3:45PM and if you have an issue with that, you can leave.”
After showing him both the site and confirmation email he said “I don’t care, you can leave and contact GolfNow for a refund.” He had zero interest in helping me. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this course ever again.
On top of this, the tee boxes have been “under renovation” for at least a year. There is sand on the greens and not a course that is worth the poor customer service to play. Don’t waste your time or money.
Hi, we are very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced at the course. Our goal is to keep the pace of play running smoothly and to never have it too backed up. As far as the raincheck goes, sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.

Unfriendly staff
My friend and I went here last weekend. My friend was visiting from out of town and we were running a little bit late. We got to the course roughly 6 or 7 minutes before tee time (mind you there were 4 cars in parking lot, 3 of them being employees). We knew we were late so were hustling to get our shoes on, as this is happening an employee is yelling across the parking lot to us to hurry up and we are late(which obviously we knew), totally unprofessional. Then we try and pay and that takes 10 min cause the front desk doesn't know how to work the golfnow app. So we they make us skip the first hole because their employee doesn't know how to do something? I will never visit again. Course is average at best but the employees are far below average

Great little course with 4 Par 4 holes.

Beware of non disclosures
Went for a quick few holes with wife at 530 on a Sunday got there and was informed no golf carts are allowed out after 400 PM so with my bad knee I was unable to pull and walk the course so I ending up losing my deposit money for two rounds of golf.

Goat Ranch
Staff in the pro shop was not very friendly from the beginning and when we were waiting for our tee time we found out that it was a par 3/4 course.

Great course to practice your short game! I try to come once a week to keep my game sharp.
Great value
I’ve played at Lakeview many times. It was a beautiful day and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The ranger kept everyone moving and ensured social distancing. He was super nice. Very friendly. For the price this is a great course. We will be back.
Excellent
As a senior and playing for 3 years I really enjoy playing this course. Staff exceedingly friendly and always look forward to playing this course. My only concern is that the players should adhere to etiquette of the game and play according to the rules which they do not always follow
