About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Great little course
The course is playing better than ever. Our new greens keeper is awesome. A few temporary tees whine the sod takes hold on # 1, 2 and 8
The greens are soft the fairways are beautiful. This is a course that’s fun!
Fantastic Condition
Lakeview is a stunning and challenging shorter course. With the new Groundskeeper on the already great team, the Greens, Fairways and traps have never been in better shape. If you want a course which is challenging yet relatively short, if you want a beautifully maintained old-growth course with an abundance of diverse trees life this is the one.
Aart
We played as a twosome and were behind 5 people. They were slow and they played as a 5 some.
We went back to the clubhouse after 3 holes and asked for a rain check but we were not able to get the rain check, the lady was very helpful but told us that she was not allowed to give rain checks.
They promised to send someone out to look at these 5 people but I never saw anyone.
We decided to start at hole 1 again but caught up to the 5 again, not a pleasant round.
Feel that a rain check would have changed my opinion.
Fun Course
Always a fun course for us older golfers. Greens need to be rolled.
I really enjoy playing Lakeview!
Snow bird
Being a snow bird I always look forward to playing this course when I return to FL. Will not be returning until October and I will be there. Great course and very friendly staff
Great value
Great course for its price. Good for beginners and experienced players lookin to fine tune their game. Short holes and limited course space but still a great course!
Great value
This is a great course for its value! And excellent for in experienced or beginner golfers. Mostly par 3s and some 4s. Great course to pick up a quick round!
Snow Bird
Have sent in quite a few of these reviews and keep receiving just as many. Snow bird from MA and we play there in October and then again in January through April always eagerly looking forward to playing here. Great course and courteous and friendly staff. See you soon
Snow birds
Have played this course several times and have been satisfied most of times. There have been a few times when course of play was extremely slow and rangers could have been enforceful to increase time of play. Looking forward to returning to this course this fall. Was fortunate enough to have had a hole in one however no consideration Was offered. Some type of recognition would be recommended
Snow bird
Have enjoyed playing this course several times and have always found it to be challenging. Staff very friendly. I am a snow bird from MA. Highly recommend this course. . I was fortunate enough to get a hole in one recommend course to give acknowledgement to these lucky hole in oners
Hello KBrisson. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
Friendly and Challenging
Nice challenging executive course. Scores vary from round to round. The only knock on the course is the pace of play. Didn’t see a ranger during the round and we were caught behind a group of 5 duffers who started play as two groups that combined as one as soon as they were out of sight of the clubhouse. Conditions have improved with each time we played over the last two weeks. Unfortunately the slow pace of play Demi I shed the pleasure of playing and working on our short games.
Short Game challenge
This course was in better condition than when we played it last week. The greens were much improved. There are variety of hole lengths to test your short game skills. Pace of play was excellent through the front nine but slowed done substantially on the back nine.
Staff was courteous and helpful.
Good to Improve your Short Game
A good course layout and the pace of play was excellent. Greens had recently been sanded making putting a bit of an adventure. The course was hard and relatively dry. You had to play short of the greens in order to hold them on an approach shot. Difficult to score well under these conditions. The price is reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Nice friendly place
Nice course to work on short game and playing par 4s without your driver. Overall conditions were good-very good. Staff were all quite friendly. In spite of some previous reviews about pace of play problems, they appear to have addressed that by regulating tee times and pace was excellent.
Bob review
Course of play at times are very poor. Recommend stricter tee times should be enforced, if players are late they should be required to wait for available times. There are many times when rangers could enforce slow players to speed things up. Some type of reward should be given to hole in one recipients
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes. Thanks for visiting Lakeview Golf Club. We hope to see you again in the future.
