Neshanic Valley Golf Course - Lake/Ridge Course

excellent condition and staff were very professional

I’ve been playing here for at least 8 years. I’m my opinion it’s the best value for playing private quality on a public course in New Jersey. Wide open, no backyards or living rooms to worry about if you go OB. 3 nine hole courses with great variety. Only issue is the staff friendliness in the clubhouse is hit or miss and the starters vary too. The pace of play is hit or miss too. Could get stuck behind hackers which will add a good hour or two to your round or you can get lucky and be behind a good group that keeps it moving. I don’t suggest this course for beginners but it’s a gem that I keep coming back to play.

Played Ridge to Meadow. Of course with the heat everything was dry and fast. Greens weed in nice shape. Staff is not the best there but they have a great course to work with.

Probably the best public course in NJ great layout with 27 holes .

Fairways great, greens immaculate, layout is challenging, and pace of play 3:45 hrs. Can't beat that.

Everything about this course is thumbs up. The one thing I think they should have are rangers. The pace of play is just a little too slow

Neshanic was in great shape today. The greens rolled very well and we’re pretty quick. The staff was 50-50. Some people were friendly others were a bit miserable. But once you’re on this well maintained course you completely forget about the customer service. The food was eh, ok for a quick bite and priced a little high for something that is pre made and kept in a warmer/cooler. They could do a better job at maintaining the bathrooms. I found them to be a bit dirty and neglected in some aspects. At the end of the day you’re there to play golf,. The course will give you a great challenge and it’s very well maintained for a public course.

So hard to get a tee time, but was able to book a great time a few days before we played.

Finished our round in 3:45, which is amazing.

Course was in great shape as always.

Definitely going back. We played Meadow-Lake and it was a perfect day on the course.

This course was made for my game. Looking forward to playing this course many more times.

Neshanic always in great condition, pace PF play though horrible..4hr 40 minutes groups on top of each other…I was forced to share a cart with a stranger who had no business being on a golf course..also Cart girl with no beer…apparently no more liquor license but they don’t want you to bring your own

The best course in Somerset County. Extremely well maintained. Flawless all around.

Course was in good condition but staff was basically useless. They don't even sell bottled water? It was close to 90° Cart had garbage and used band aids in it.
