About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

The course is a decent municipal course. Management has invested a lot into their greens and surrounding fringe. It looks and plays REALLY nice! The remainder of the course is fair to poor... tee boxes were chewed up. Fairways had not been cut in over a week and had A LOT of crap grass taking over 75% of the fairways. Overall, it was $48 to play with a cart. decent layout. just needs some extra TLC in fairways and tee boxes. I'd def. play again. Just realize it's a good municipal course to just get out and play. Really nice greens overall.
Best round I’ve played here so far this year
This course was in great shape. The greens were awesome except for the ones that the previous golfers failed to fix their ball marks. We chose to do what we could but there were a lot of marks.
Afterwards we had lunch, actually we all had breakfast, in their restaurant. Perfect ending.
Nice track
Nice course. Not overly long course but some holes are tight, so hitting it straight is a premium if you want to score well. Greens is very nice shape. Great value.
Fun Time at White Oaks
Always a fun time at the course. Only drawback is there are No Par Aids on the course and the new golf carts don’t have one either. We also had difficulty with the carts as they would sometimes die on the cart path with a note saying you are off the cart path. (That’s being very picky; however, think you should know if you go). Overall a great time and value.
Ryan's 1st time
Played the back 9 first and except for the five ladies in the group in front of ours, it was very good. Course was in good shape except for a tee box or two. Greens rolled true and fairways were nice. Excellent value for the 18 holes of golf on a hot day.
Hot day @ White Oaks
White Oaks Golf Club is a nice layout with interesting golf holes. Course conditions are average at best. The Good, they have good greens and staff was applying water to keep them up. The fairways are just okay with all different types of grass, the rough is well, rough sand and weeds. Tee boxes are a disaster, traps are stones & mud. The only other issue is pace of play is always sooo slow. 5 groups on holes 10& 11, but none on 17&18?? Overall the course is a good value and i hope that they keep the conditions up.
Buyer Beware
They charged me an extra $50 for 2 people. I said I booked on Golf Now and they said that was my balance. They space out tee times every 8 minutes, so every hole was backed up. Because of this and the layout we were dodging golf balls all round. Would not recommend. Also, there is no mobile data coverage, because it's in the back woods of NJ.
Good value course
Played on a the hottest day of the year so I got in 36 in just over 5 hours.
Course layout is fun with some challenging greens and creative pin placements; only complaint is bunkers are very rock heavy
