About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Fun but could be better
We played here in the spring and enjoyed it so we decided to try again. The course and layout is very nice and the carts are newly equipped with GPS which was nice. The greens were firm but rolled true and were in nice condition. Tee boxes were a mess with many wet and just dirt. The fairways were hard with lots of hard pan dirt which led to great roll out but often good shots kicked into the woods leaving you with a difficult shot or punch out. If we get some rain perhaps the fairways would thicken up.
All in all for the 65 we paid it was worth it, we enjoyed it and had a good time.
Pace of play
Horrible pace of play. Left early because the staff books tee times eight minutes apart. We were held up behind three groups on each hole. I enjoy this course but something needs to be done about pace of play. That made it a horrible experience.
Course condition has drastically dropped during the course of the summer, fairways and teeboxes need some work!
Monday after the rainy weekend
I had called and found out they had recently aerated the fairways but not the greens. I guess our group was the only ones fixing ball marks on all of the greens. Besides the ball marks, the pace was great.
Afterwards we had lunch at their restaurant/bar. Always a good selection on the menu.
If you can get by the ugly tee boxes, it’s a decent course
The course is in good shape and fun to play, but the tee boxes are in brutal shape. They’re almost all sand and dead grass.
Great Course for the Money
Greens were well kept, pace of play quick and friendly staff. Some fairways were a little bereft of grass but we did have a very hot and wet summer. Definitely will play again! Had a great time if not a great round !
Very friendly place to play. Wish it was closer to my house.
