About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Course was a lot of fun
Greens were in excellent shape, but tricky. Really had to pay attention to lines and pace

Fair at BEST
Poor tee boxes,poor fairways,many stones in so called waste bunkers greens were OK
Pace fair. Too many 2 somes not paired.
Price TOO high for course.
Buena and Pinelands are better deals and conditions.

Fun round
Overall this was an average course with nice geeens! The thing to remember here is that this is a public course with modest pricing. With that being said; the tee boxes were in rough shape. The fairways were in fair condition. (Few holes they were pretty beat up.). Track isn’t that challenging, but fun to play.
What saved this course was the really well maintained green-side bunkers, fringes and greens! These greens were true and pretty fast. Really enjoyed all 18 greens, well done greenskeeper!
I played on a really cloudy day and there wasn’t a single joke I had to wait for a shot. Got the round in under four hours! Young staff, pretty friendly. Straight and to the point. Overall great day. I’ll be back to play again. Esp. For the $45 fees with a cart.

Rude ranger
The course itself was in very good condition. The pro shop man and the starter were very friendly. That said the ranger was not friendly and very rude. Our tee time was 11:54 AM. There was nobody in front of us when we teed off. The ranger started following us after the second hole. We finished the 5th hole around 1:00PM. At that time the ranger told us we had to pick up the pace. We asked if we were behind and he told us yes. We asked him how we could be behind when there was nobody in front of us. He said we needed to pick up the pace. We all looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders. We finished the front 9 in under 2 hours and completed 18 6 minutes under 4 hours. I don't know how fast they want you to play, but I don't think we did to bad. That venting aside the course was very nice and I would play it again but, I really don't want to see that ranger again.
