About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Rude ranger
The course itself was in very good condition. The pro shop man and the starter were very friendly. That said the ranger was not friendly and very rude. Our tee time was 11:54 AM. There was nobody in front of us when we teed off. The ranger started following us after the second hole. We finished the 5th hole around 1:00PM. At that time the ranger told us we had to pick up the pace. We asked if we were behind and he told us yes. We asked him how we could be behind when there was nobody in front of us. He said we needed to pick up the pace. We all looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders. We finished the front 9 in under 2 hours and completed 18 6 minutes under 4 hours. I don't know how fast they want you to play, but I don't think we did to bad. That venting aside the course was very nice and I would play it again but, I really don't want to see that ranger again.

Slooooooow play
Tee time was 2:07. Was delayed teeing off. until 2:35. Had 3 in our group. Saw 2 twosome at tee box ahead of us. Well starter thinks it's ok to let 2 twosomes stay as 2 twosome. And was a foursome ahead of them. 5 hour round sucks. No water put out to drink on course. But $26. Get what you pay for.

White Oaks
This course is really in the middle of nowhere. Greens were good and true. Obviously holes are being improved and thus course is up and coming. Well worth the green fees. Really enjoyed the layout. Some holes are not very long. Staff was excellent. I hope this course continues to improve. A lot of potential here. I most definitely will play it again in the near future. Enjoy your round here. Good place to play golf, price is right, greens and fairways good shape.

Played with my wife, daughter and Sam who they put with our 3some. When checking in I told the guy in the pro shop that my daughter could only play 9 and asked for a 9 hole rain check but nadda. Because I booked via golfnow - no rain checks - no nothing. He told me to call golfnow for any rain checks. O well - nice playing at this golf course...customer unfrriendly.

Fairways
Fairways were in poor condition, lots of bare spots and lots of crab grass.

It was a slow play day
Greens ok fairways getting burned out tee boxes are not good it is still worth the 25 dollars a round was a decent course in the beginning of summer not now.

Cow pasture
Tee boxes horrible, fairways looked like cow pasture. Employee cleaning clubs at the end arrogant saying you get what you pay for.probably will not go back!

A great day but no ranger and the pace of play was very slow with a twosome in front of us. A little over 5 hrs.

Challenging!!
Very challenging course from 1-18!!! If you are a tree magnet this course is not for you!! Had a fun time for my first time. Only complaint would be that the fairways need a little work, although it did look like they where recently treated with weed spray and some aeration has started. Greens were amazing and tough. Staff was very friendly and pace of play was acceptable! Would love to come back, and see if I can lower my score.

League play
T time was 120. Made the turn at 320. Played 2 holes on back nine and got to the 11th hole there were 6 groups on the t box. They allow the 4 o'clock group to just jump out in front of people already playing in a free for all fashion. This happened before and I made mention of it, they said it won't happen again and it did. So basically the course doesn't care .
White Oaks Country Club
Was above average course. As with many NJ courses, fairways were hard due to little rain. Sand traps need some work. A fee t boxes were under repair. The staff I met were very courteous, although I did hear a few players complaining about staff attitudes. Would recommend playing was worth the price I paid through golf.now

Bad experience
Not only was this almost a 6 hour round....the course conditions were terrible. They've let the fairways go and the tee boxes are in bad shape. To charge 68 dollars for this is not acceptable.
