About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Course has Bounced Back
Used to play this course all the time, but then they got too expensive for the product that they were putting out so I stopped playing. Was pleasantly surprised when I came to play it after 2 years or so. The price point that they are at now is perfect for what the course is. Fun course and fun design with nice facilities (wish there was a range). Will be playing frequently if the price stays at what it is.
Great course for the value
Greens with fairways being in pretty good shape. Some of the tee boxes were a little beat up but that’s expected! Was impressed with the starter and caddy at the end who offered to clean my groups clubs as well.

Needs attention
The course is very tight with trees everywhere. However, we knew that going in. Traps were horrible and more like dried dirt.. Fairways in bad shape. Greens just ok. They don’t allow you to take golf cart to your car so you have to lug the clubs back and forth. The young guys working as starters were nice and assisted with loading clubs, and wiped down the clubs at the end.

Tee boxes mostly passable. Fairways need lots of work. Greens are nice if a little slow.

Improvement
Lots of improvement course conditions wise since that last time I played here which was over a year ago. Forget what anyone has told you in the past year, the greens are fixed up and the fairways are coming along. No more dead patches in the greens. Definitely starting to become worth the price.

Played this course the past 2 weeks,and was pleasantly surprised. Prior to this season we thought the course wasn't really bad shape. We understand that new owners took over. And they seem to be trying very hard to get this back in. Really good shape. The greens were excellent shape. The fairways or a bit rough.. overall, I would say that they're working real hard to get this in better shape.

Good layout
It was a drive from AC but enjoyed our day. Course was in decent shape but traps were hard and rocky. Had August roll in many fairways. Must have been dry spring. Restaurant after was great. Food and staff extremely friendly. Would come back.

Course is coming along
Since playing here during COVID it has started to recover. Fairways are still filled with crab grass , tee boxes still need work but the majority of the greens are in great shape. Very tight course. Be verycareful of miss hit balls. Price was good and course is overall nice. But fairways and tee boxes need to be improved.

All about value
For what we paid there are no complaints. The course was in mostly good shape with only a bad tee box or two. Maybe a patch here or there on greens or fairways. You’re not getting pristine conditions for $25
