About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Not enough info
Booked a tee time with Golf Now but was never told that the course was Aerating the greens. I should have not paid the price I did since if I made the tee time with the course it would have been cheaper.

Needs Work
The course needs work. There seemed to be people working on the course which is a good sign but the greens were iffy and parts of the fairways bare. I really like the layout some I am hopeful that the work being done will payoff.

Change of Ownership was it’s Demise
This course was a favorite of mine in the earlier 2010s; however, it’s condition has diminished severely. The people working their are friendly, of course, but I would rather staff that kept the pace of play. If you and your buddies are saying “should I book it” then do not. The course is overall unplayable and needs a serious amount of work until it is back to any type of standard.
