About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

I played White Oaks last month, Condition of the course was OK. In just a months time the course condition is much better you can tell they are working hard on getting it in shape.

Course condition
Condition of course was terrible some of greens were covered (half of green) for seeding my feeling is if condition of course was that bad , $50 per is over priced

Condition of course terrible
Had fun with son condition of course was terrible @ around $50 a round on Sunday and being the course was in terrible condition I feel course was way over priced

In order to be 5 star, you would need to flatten your tee boxes, get sand in the bunkers, upgrade the practice mats.

Work in Progress
The course is in need of many improvements, there seems to be efforts to get this in motion, trees have been cut down by tees and greens, some bunkers are being fixed and the greens which were so terrible last year are being worked on, one can hope that these efforts and hopefully more work will bring the course back to a respectable layout, we need courses like this and Pinelands and Pennsauken to combat the unfair rates that many courses in SJ have been charging, like Scotland Run, Riverwinds, Harbor Pines, etc.

Good all around course
I find that the course gives you a bit of everything. Some easy holes, some challenging. Due to an illness I haven’t played in the past 2 years.
