About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

For the price……not worth it
I love this course however it seems it has gone downhill the last 3x I played it. The layout is beautiful and the fairways are good to great. The problem with this course was it’s greens. My ball even complained how bumpy of a ride it was on the green. Bumpy, slow and not really well taken care of. With all this said, let me also say that it appeared White Oak was putting some of its profits back into the course. Work was being done around the course and several greens were under repair (not part of my complaint). Maybe ownership is trying to improve the course to its previous beauty. Overall, slightly below average course.

Great Value
Although the tee boxes left something to be desired, the overall course was in good shape, and considerable effort to remove the leaves that had fallen from the completely tree-lined fairways
A lot of holes are short, a long hitter will play lots of holes, driver--wedge , though oddly enough, the 17th hole is a 215 yard par 3 from the White tees., right after the 290 yard par 4 16th hole

Don't go on Windy day
Fairly wooded course on every hole, which means leaves everywhere, and with it being a very windy day, 80% of all greens were leaf covered - it was impossible to clear to allow a clean putt - not much the course could do about it other than having 10 workers constantly blowing the greens, but it made for a bad day - there were also so many leaves, even on the fairway, that finding any ball, even right on the fairway, was a challenge. this made pace of play very slow as people took long time to find every shot .
Overall course was in good condition, other than a few tee boxes, greens rolled true if you could find a leaf free section

No money put into course.
The course was full of leaves and the tee boxes were horrible. Haven’t played here in years and I won’t be back if this looks like this. Greens were all bumpy and the fairways had minimal grass. Not worth $20 dollars and they’re charging $39 for this crap. They should be ashamed to take customers money.

condition of course was bad...greens and fairways had a lot of bare spots...leaves all over the place..in sand traps..on fairways and in woods...lost 5 balls during my round due to the leaf problem...they could at least mulched the leaves on the fairways and remove from sand traps..not fun looking for golf balls in sand when the leaves cover the trap at least 2 feet deep...no fun playing this course...the staff had a bull dozer picking up leaves in the woods they should have been mulching

better than average
Good course with faster than expected greens. The staff was helpful as we ( 2 of us) arrived early and started on our own vs paired with 2 since there was a gap ahead of us. Fairways were fine even though it was November. Good value course.

It was ok.
The course was borderline unplayable due to fallen leaves. Balls that landed in the middle of fairways and greens were hard to find if at all able to be found.

The price is right
This course is a good layout that won't beat up the average golfer. The conditions are low budget with beat up tee boxes and fairways, leaf and mud filled bunkers. The greens are improving. Usually pace of play is brutally slow and overbooked but being i played on a monday it was good this day. Would like to see more improvements to the condition of the course even at a slightly higher greens fee.

Love the course layout staff was great they handled a frost delay very well.
Greens need to be fixed many of them had major damage in spots but rolled fair for being so bumpy. No Ranger? Had a group of 4 appear out of nowhere jumped on 13 but did not impead our pace?
