About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

A couple of things need some attention.
If you like ripped cart seat that leak water onto your legs for 18, left over leaves from the fall and bunkers you could ride a skateboard in than this is the place for you.
Honestly course would be great if the bunkers got a lot of attention by removing the leaves and mosquito breeding grounds and adding actual sand, fixed the seats on the carts and hired a ranger to keep the pace. The layout is good and challenging. Fairways need some lovin too with some seed.

Not bad
Course wasn’t in bad shape at all, the only bad thing I can say about it has to do with the bunkers. The bunkers were hard, some were filled with water, and all of them had big rocks in them. If you care about your clubs avoid the bunkers, or move the ball to a soft spot with no rocks!

Slow pace of play
This course was in good shape for April. The pace of play was painfully slow. The ranger should have pushed the group in front of us to move a little faster. There was a backup on every hole we played.
Not sure if I would make the drive again. There really wasn't anything that made it worth it.

It’s still early
A lot of patchy fairways. A lot of unkept bunkers. And I understand the course is in the woods, but why are there still so many leaves on the course? Greens were fast. I like the course, but I’ll wait till the end of the season to return.

course going down hill
haven't played here in 2 years but noticed some improvemmany but on the whole it seems to becoming in dire need for major work - bald spots in the fairwaysents - unlovely tee boxes - sand traps full of water - many places need to be reseeded

Love this course!!! The sand traps could use the same love though.... many were more like water hazards. The staff is always friendly. Favorit hometown course!!
