About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Very leafy !
Lots of leaves on the course, but I gotta say the greens are in fabulous shape (if they didn’t have so many leaves on them)

Stop overbooking tee times!!!
one hour wait for an afternoon tee time. must be really hurt for money but that can backfire because you just lost two customers...

Pace of play the worst!!!!
Started 1 hour after tee time due to overbooking!
Why is there a tee time? Will not be returning!!!

Not Worth The Time
Third time I have been here and each time has been the longest rounds of golf I have ever played. They overbook the course every weekend to where they’re 50 minutes behind on tee times and you wait ten plus minutes between holes. The way they run this course is ridiculous, if you think you can play 18 in anything less than 5 hours on a weekend you’re wrong. Course is decent otherwise but I’d rather waste my money elsewhere.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. 50 min late
We had a 12:00 tee time and did not tee off until 12:50. We then waited 10 min on every hole. We only got 15 holes in.

50 minutes behind on tee times front 9 in 2.45 hours. Totally pathetic. Greens in good shape but rest of course could use a mow and some grass seed. Poorly maintain. I wouldn't waste my money. Left after 9 holes.

Poor pace is understatement
It’s a decent course - conditions layout etc. but pace was truly horrible. Probably the worst I have ever experienced.. It’s what you would expect when tee time reservations are only 8 min apart. We booked for 12:40, started at 1:40 and couldn’t even finish 18 before dark (7:00). Backed up 2-3 groups on most tee boxes. Waited on every shot. Played #16 in the dark. Unless you’re the first group out or don’t mind a 6-hour round, don’t come here. They’re just trying to cash in on the increase in golfers due to the pandemic. (Plus they tried to give me a dirty cart - didn’t even hose it down and garbage still in it)

Overbooked
Course was in good shape which was the only thing that was good about the experience. Tee time was at 2:22pm got there an hour early, we ended up not being able to Tee off until 3PM. The course was so backed up that by the time we got to the 16th hole it was to dark to keep playing ( this was at 7:15-7:30 PM).

Bad Experience
Booked a 2:46pm tee time for 18 holes. They were extremely overbooked and backed up. Was only able to complete 12 holes before it got too dark to play any longer. 12 holes in over 4 hours. Was waiting 10 minutes at each hole due to backup. Paid the full price for 18 holes, but only got to play 12 slow and unenjoyable holes. Bad experience.

The course could actually be a Fairly nice course, the greens were the best part of the course .. the sand was basically cement and it really was a shame because they placed beautiful fescue all around it. When you get to the course you get a false impression that it is actually a nice course however the sand is really a killer since it is all over the course.. also stupid trees in the middle of fairways. The fairways were cute bone short I’m sure to enhance roll on the drives but it made it impossible to hit a solid wedge shot. I’d say the course could actually play well and would be worth the expensive price tag on the weekend if the sand was actually sand instead of cement.

nice coarse great weather which is why coarse was booked solid was a five hour round but still a great time
