About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Over Booking
I have golfed at White Oaks before and liked it. Took my two co workers there today which was their first time there. We will never go back again, they over booked the course like i have never seen before. We had a 1:36 tee time, and we didn’t tee off until after 2pm because there was a line of carts in front of us. After 9 holes took 3 hours and 15 mins we were done and asked for a rain check for 9 final holes. Our round would have taken over 6 hours and they said there was nothing that could do because of slow pace. Because they got greedy for one day and booked way more tee times than they should we will never be returning. A round should never take up 7 hours of your day.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Great course
the course was in good condition for this time of year. The price is reasonable. I will be coming again in the future

The layout of the course is challenging. Definitely do not need a driver on these holes. Unless you’re precise with the big stick. The fairways were hard in soMe spots and extremely soft in others. Crabgrass throughout the entire course. If it wasn’t for the $25 hotdeal, would’ve been really upset paying the full price. The greens were above average, but previous golfers did not fix their marks. I can’t really blame the course for that. All in all, challenging with the layout, but conditions made it harder than it should’ve been.

Lots of trees
Good course overall. Fairly tight off the tees...need to know layout and distances to score well...course management is a must...can’t just grip it and rip it or you’ll be playing from the woods often.

Over priced

Slow play
We were the 8:30 tee time and had two groups still to tee off ahead of us at 8:30. Extremely slow foursome ahead of our foursome and a twosome on our tails the whole round made for a frustratingly long round. No ranger check-in at any point. Course conditions were very subpar compared to our round in late May. The recent heavy rains make the poor bunker conditions understandable, but the crabgrass invasion of the fairways was sad to see. I raved about the course conditions back in late May, but they have fallen off a cliff in less than 3 months.

This course is in awful shape. This is already a difficult a course but the course conditions make it impossible.

Course in bad shape
No rangers, group ahead of us had us waiting on every shot. Sunday isn’t the day at 11:30 to show 2 people how to golf. They wouldn’t let us play through. We skipped a hole to get by them at 14.
Course is in the worst shape I have ever seen. Crabgrass in every fairway. Players not fixing ball marks on every green.
Not worth the money, pace of play slower than a turtle!!

Course condition
The course was not in great shape for the amount of money. The fairways were covered in crab grass. I understand the heat has been an issue but this was insane. The tee boxes were also not in the best shape. I was very disappointed with how the course condition was. I might not return for the remainder of the year.

Course is good
Course was in good shape being it rained all day before my tee time.
Only compliant is there is no beverage cart at all in course and they won’t let you bring even a little cooler on course

Underrated for the price
I’ve played here a few times and am always pleasantly surprised. For the price, you get a decent test on a rather shortish course. If you don’t keep it in the fairway, you’ll often pay by having to chip out and take your medicine. Trees are dense and most times, you’ll have to just get it back in play. If you keep it out of trouble, you can put up a nice number. Greens may be the best thing about course. When their right, very quick but true. I’d recommend it to play a couple times a year

Excellent Course, below subpar staff
Played this course for the first time today, and it is a hidden gem of South Jersey. One of the few courses in the area that trees don’t play a huge factor and they’re spread out! Plus it’s an extremely challenging course!
My biggest complaint was the staff and management. We were denied the opportunity to bring our coolers on the course on the HOTTEST day of July and told there would be a beverage cart driving around. We understood and didn’t have a problem until we finished the front nine and not a SINGLE time did the beverage cart pass us. They had no idea where the cart was or if anyone was even driving it. This definitely left us with a bad, DRY taste for the course.
