About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Great Course
This was my first time playing this course. My friends have all played here before so I was looking forward to it. The course is well-maintained and easy to navigate. The greens had excellent pace and you are rewarded for keeping it in the fairway but not punished too harshly for missing. I shot a hole in one on 12 so of course it is probably the most memorable round of golf I will have ever played. Leaving that out, it’s still a great course.

Enjoyable to play
I play this course at least 8 times a year. I took a friend who is just starting to play and I thought thought the course shortens up nicely for a female to also enjoy.

Really Great Staff
As good as this course is, the staff makes it great! No amenities because of Covid limitations but everything available to make play a breeze.

They let us tee off early...they were ahead of schedule. Love this place. Cant wait to sit in the club house after a round.

Decent shape overall, fun course to score
The course seemed well maintained and the greens were recovering from aeration. The tee boxes were in good shape and the fairways were plush. However, the sand traps were in lousy condition, and the water hazards need work. The course itself is not very long or difficult and several greens can be reached by driver. Most fairways are wide open and lend well to those who may struggle off the tee. Overall it was enjoyable to play and feel it would be even better to play from the tips.

Phenomenal Deal
Played today (Friday) : course was crowded but pace was actually really good.
Fun layout, a few too many short par 4 s for my taste, but overall had some memorable holes.
Greens were in good shape especially for this time of year. Would definitely recommend if looking for a good value.

Need better greens
Nice staff, not a difficult course,except the greens were very difficult due to being to undulated. One thing to have breaks, but these were all over the place.No water came into play. ok ,but not my choice of play. Also for the winter time the play was very slow? I hope they consider this positive criticism as I'm not trying to put the course down, just giving my opinion.

Good Value
I have played this course numerous times. I find it challenging with all of the tree lined fairways . Green were in decent shape for this time of the year . It is always a good value. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Pace was slow because everyone went off the back due to frost. Could have sent off a few players on the front which would have helped in pace of play.
