White Oaks Country Club

First off, the course is nice and the clubhouse has great food and amenities. With that being said, I’ve golfed at a lot of places, to. Include other countries, but I’ve never played a slower round of golf then I did today. On every hole, we had to wait for the group in front of us (who had to wait for the group in front of them, etc.), and on about 6 holes we literally pulled up behind the 4 guys in front of us at the next tee box who didn’t even start hitting off yet due to the people in front of them still within driving range. Needless to say, it was a little ridiculous. We teed off around 11:30am and didn’t get done until a little before 5:30pm. We enjoyed the course, but certainly did not enjoy the wait time.

The track was a nice place to play. The price I paid through Golf Now was well worth it. But if I had to pay the rack rate it would have been way toooooo much. Even though the greens were aerated the course web site was paying a price $15 more. No way!!! I’ll play this again in a few weeks and the greens should be grown in. The I will give my full opinion. It was good though.

For the inexpensive price, this was a nice course BUT it's in the middle of nowhere. The course was fairly busy, especially for a Wednesday afternoon and our tee time was delayed so they could pair us up with another twosome. The starter was not helpful or friendly but the pro shop and restaurant personnel made up for it.

More cons: There is one porta-potty on the course and there is no where else to go except at the turn. One whole has the blue tees (and occasionally white tees from what we were told) hitting directly over the main driveway. There was no sign that I saw pulling in but this would be helpful information!

This course is always amazing for the price. I have been teaching a friend to golf and this course is very good for polishing your skills. The fairways are fairly well maintained as are the greens. sand traps can be spotty and the tee boxes as well but it’s not unexpected. Not too difficult of a course but still a great play. For the price it really cannot be beaten. Would recommend to all levels of players. My true rating is 4.5/5 for a smaller public course.

Nice relaxing day. Course was in great condition.

Still early in the season, but conditions were pretty good, especially the greens. Sand traps could use a little TLC, too many stones and in need of raking. All in all, it was an enjoyable day. The staff and amenities were great. I'll be back.

If you can't give this place 5 stars... you're a liar!!

Right from the first hole you know the course is going to be challenging. I wish it was water and not sand however right in front of the first tee box (now that would be even more of a challenge).

That 600+ yard hole is definitely worth the challenge.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. You might miss the driveway into the golf course if it's your first time there. But, I did and that wasn't even a problem for me.

First time playing at WOCC. The greens were recently top dressed and they were very sandy and lighting fast. The course over all was good. It’s April and very early in the season. In a few weeks it should fill in nicely. The sand traps are like no other. The only complaint was the sand traps need tons of work. There is water in many of the sand traps. Over all I would go back again it’s a good value.

Unfortunately we had a foursome ahead of us that played slowly,. They had a foursome ahead of them that played slowly. No course marshall was seen to ask them to pick up their pace. We had two men behind us that wound up hitting up on us. After 9 holes the two men jumped ahead of us and saw for themselves how slow the groups were ahead of us. Made for a bit of stress on a beautiful day. Would be nice if someone came around to tell them to pick up and move along.

Greens rolled tight and true. Preparations for the season part of obvious attentive care taking (aeration) around the collars of the greens- signs of a well kept track bracing for summer play. I can’t wait to get back and try the very enjoyable layout. Staff was very relaxed and made our group feel comfortable and it was fun! Blue skies, sunny day, and sweet short green grass. All golf courses are in place to have fun with friends and testing skills. Thumbs up for White Oaks

Got there for a 2 PM tee time and there was a 75 minute wait because they said there was a frost delay earlier. We talked to one golfer who drover 50 miles to play there and was never informed about the delay. He had been waiting for two hours.

I don't understand why the course cannot inform GolfNow about such a delay who can then communicate to their customers who booked that day.

We had the 2nd tee time of the day. Wind gusting to 30, we played from the trees for most of the holes. Good news, they don’t have too many leaves in the tree line, bad news, if you got out but landed in a bunker you would’ve been retrieving a wet ball. The greens were in great shape considering the recent weather in south Jersey.

The bar/restaurant was great. Food was great too.

I thought the fairways and greens were really good for this time of year.The tees were a little barren the aprons were fine and the less said about the traps the better. They are proof of the horrible weather we had for the last 4 or 5 months. Even though I lost a few balls in the "sand" i did not allow this to ruin my day. I think the good far out weights the bad and I'll return soon.
