About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Great Value/Slow Play
Greens were in great shape. Tee boxes were okay and fairways were in good shape. My only complaint was it was a 4 1/2 hour round on a Tuesday something I expect on Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Poor condition
Course is in poor condition. Fairways and greens are OK. Tee boxes and rough are terrible. This course used to be in a lot better condition years ago.

Nice layout
Greens are really nice. The tees and fairways are adequate. As a 2 some we flew around in 3:15 early on a Thursday morning. I’ll be back.

Great Value

The entire time we were playing golf they were working on the course which tied up the pace of play as we had to keep stopping on every single hole while they were working putting down markers for 50 100 150 it was ridiculous it was time-consuming and it just totally ruined our entire game of golf. This type of work should have been done when golfers were not trying to play. We were behind two foursomes and we were only a party of two. In addition in the afternoon they had a tournament so we were rushing to get off the course. None of this was told to us when we signed up to play golf and we thought this was very unfair. Also we had a very small bag with Gatorade a bottle of water and an ice pack and we were told that we were not allowed to use our cooler. They said they were banned from their course. Since my husband is a heart patient he needed the cold energy drink but instead had to drink it at room temperature since we were playing 18 holes and there is was no way to keep it cold.I can see if they didn't want to have beer or other alcoholic beverages brought onto the course but they could see we did not have any such beverage.

Excellent conditions
Course is in great shape, greens still recovering from winter an the excessive rain this spring, but overall course in great shape

Nice course- would return via Golf Now
Two of us bought a Hot Deal from Golf Now. We liked the course and would return. FYI- no cooler policy and the only course markings (150, 200) are on the cart paths- nothing on the course.

Extremely Slow Pace of Play
First off, the course is nice and the clubhouse has great food and amenities. With that being said, I’ve golfed at a lot of places, to. Include other countries, but I’ve never played a slower round of golf then I did today. On every hole, we had to wait for the group in front of us (who had to wait for the group in front of them, etc.), and on about 6 holes we literally pulled up behind the 4 guys in front of us at the next tee box who didn’t even start hitting off yet due to the people in front of them still within driving range. Needless to say, it was a little ridiculous. We teed off around 11:30am and didn’t get done until a little before 5:30pm. We enjoyed the course, but certainly did not enjoy the wait time.

Nice course
The track was a nice place to play. The price I paid through Golf Now was well worth it. But if I had to pay the rack rate it would have been way toooooo much. Even though the greens were aerated the course web site was paying a price $15 more. No way!!! I’ll play this again in a few weeks and the greens should be grown in. The I will give my full opinion. It was good though.
