White Oaks Country Club
About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Course it was in decent condition
Was a great day to play around the golf. But there was no place to get water or get something to eat. Course had standing water in the fairways and on the tee boxes.
Great Value
Great course, each hole is challenging. Must be tough for grounds crew during leaf season.
Good day
While the weather was nice, I played golf with my friend and his wife. Because it was winter, the conditions were not good, but I had a good time. I was grateful to the pro shop staff for their kind guidance.
Thee golfer
Great course . You get what you paid for . Allot of leaves still around the course but over all great day for golfing .
Greens in excellent shape. Wind conditions blew leaves on fairway but not course fault.
I like .....
It was nice to go to a place with good prices and beautiful scenery on holiday. Everything was good, but it was difficult to find the ball because the leaves had not been cleared away. Of course, considering the season when leaves fall, it's not a bad thing, but it was a little difficult. thank you
Too many leaves
I realize that it’s fall and that rates are really reduced but I had to quit after 10 holes. Take your cheap balls because you’re going to lose a lot. Even balls hit in the middle of the fairway can be tough to find. Very frustrating. If your off the fairway or on the tree line forget it. I played here in the past and I’ve always enjoyed it but I think I’m done for the year.
Not good
The tee boxes were not good at all Some were just sand and dirt Need a lot of work
Yes I understand leaves are an issue. But when spending so much time search for your ball in the fairway, it got real old fast Same for brushing leaves off of every green just to putt Wasn’t a good time at all
Leaves, Leaves, Leaves
Greens are slow
Holes not maintained
Fairway covered in leaves
They should have you a leave blower
Recommend but not now
The course layout is challenging with narrow treelined fairways throughout and well placed sand traps. However, many sections of the fairways were muddy due to watering and lack of sunlight from. all the trees. The rough was strewn with piles of leaves and if you were lucky enough to find your ball, you are hitting off of sand and gravel in most areas around the many trees. Our cart had gps onboard which was malfunctioning the entire front 9 beeping stating we were in a restricted area while we were on the cart path multiple times. Very aggravating and we changed carts at the turn. The course appears as though it would be a nice and challenging place to play in peak season when there are no leaves and conditions are better. Oh yea, I saw someone with a Ranger jacket on at the clubhouse, however, I never saw him on the course where a foursome two groups ahead were causing a 5 minute wait for every single shot for at least four groups behind them at the very least the entire round. Maybe he would be out in peak season as well.
Leaves
There were too many leaves on the fairway to play without loosing many golf balls. Understand it is difficult to keep up with the leaves at the end of October but it was frustrating and slowed the pace of play.
Nice Layout
Course has a nice layout. The greens are in very good condition but sand traps need dressing, they have a lot of stones. Staff is friendly and when the cart girl is on the course she’s very attentive. Pace of play is normally fairly good for 3 people 3:45-4:15.
