Raritan Landing Golf Course

The course had lots of traps and hazards which made it challenging. Only had a few opportunities to take out the driver on a majority Par 3 course. The bunkers and greens were well maintained. There was no water on the course. They had a snack cart coming around throughout the day.

It’s a decent course layout that caters to someone who wants to go out and hit mostly irons/wedges but for $30 to walk 9 holes it’s a bit much. Basically a glorified executive par 3 course with a few par 4’s in there.

Pace of play was excellent. Course was in very good condition

Played on 6/29 with 3 friends two coming from Long Island. We had a 1210 tee time but my friends hit little traffic coming and arrived at 1115. We were accommodated and were given an 1130 tee time which was much appreciated. My friends enjoyed the course and we are making plans to come back soon.

The pathway to the holes need to be clearly marked. Met other golfers who got turned around or couldn’t find the correct tee box. The flying gnats are quite annoying maybe they could spray to alleviate the pest!

I enjoyed my round , however I feel the direction between each hole needs to be marked clearly. The current setup can be confusing .

I just started playing golf this year. My friend who lives in Toms River has a 9 hole course in his development which we have been playing 2-3 times a week. The longest hole is 125 yds but it is excellent to work on short game. I heard about Raritan Landing and that it's mostly par 3. I decided to step up in class with a majority of the holes being just for irons play and it is a wonderful course to learn and progress I will be going there more often now

Great course for beginners took my grandson who’s 12 had a blast

This course is in great shape. They have a Cart going around the course with cold beverages and snack bar is open also.

My biggest complaint was pace of play. They need a scout, ranger or ambassador to ride the course and push golfers along to keep a good pace.
