Raritan Landing Golf Course

There was a frost delay and my tee time was delayed over an hour, but thats how it goes in early Spring. It was a banner day with warm temperatures, sunny skies and light breezes! Had a great time with the twosome my wife and I were paired with.

With 4somes every 10 minutes they were over an hour backed up when we arrived 30 minutes before our tee time at 1:30. Our 1:30 group went out at 2:50! Staff, while not rude at all, just had never seen a golf course before and no idea who is doing what. Zero management and no one in charge. For example the cook doubled as the starter while there were 4-5 other employees standing around or individually fetching him buns from inside. No ranger to enforce pace of play and the cook had no control over other golfers stopping at the turn to eat but holding their position in the course by blocking the 10th tee. Prepaid tee times only so everyone waited 80-90minutes to get out.

If you’re looking for a short course with an abundance of par 3 holes, this course is for you.

My wife and I had a great time playing with another twosome on a warm, sunny, early Spring day.. There was a frost delay, so our tee time was delayed a little over an hour and the place was packed with golfers. Pace of play was good considering the amount of players today. As always the conditions at this course were good. Have played this course many times and it's always a pleasure.

Finally got out with my son after this rough winter we had in Sussex County drove down here and definitely worth the while friendly staff , nice layout , lots of iron practice with all the par 3s good for first time out. Will be back .

Only 8 holes open took nearly 3 hours to play.we left after 8

Playing from the forward tees on that golf course made it incredibly short. I don't mind par 3's over 100 yards, but to have 60 yard holes and charge full price was not good. I've played there over 50 times, and love it for what it is, but it wasn't that 1/2/21.

Even though the course is mainly par threes, it still maintained interest for the eighteen holes.

The course itself was nice and not too easy nor too difficult. I was upset with the course’s lack of transparency. We paid full price without knowing that they had changed the tee boxes. The tee boxes were spray-painted areas roughly 6 feet in diameter and were off to the sides or in front of the standard boxes and were horrible. They were muddy with almost zero grass. They were in the worst spots imaginable to hit towards the green. I understand they have to let the tee box grass grow in the winter but be honest and upfront about that and don’t charge full price for a subpar experience.

2 hr delay due to frost got going an hour after tee time. Had to tee off from yellow pole rough areas around the women's tees. Would have appreciated if course called me or Golf Now noted long delay and way foward tees. Nonetheless an ok course and putting surfaces in very good condition. On other hand alot of the course deeply muddy and wet. Wear old waterproof footwear, you'll thank me. The streams are dry so would say drainage problems.

All tee areas were closed and almost every hole was reduced to some tiny 100 yards pitching and putting practice. However they charged regular price and we didn’t know about the conditions until we started playing.
