Slow play

Had to abandon game at 9 holes due to excessively slow play caused by two groups of children (10 -12 years) who had no idea of pace of play. Nice kids but not ready for unsupervised golf. At one pont there were 3 groups waiting to tee off behind them.

Great course with amazing views

My husband and I traveled to Ireland for our 25th anniversary and played 5 rounds of golf. Our fifth was St Anne’s the day before left and it was a wonderful way to end our trip. Course was in great condition, loved the layout, and even though it was crowded, we hardly had to wait for the group in front of us. Would play it again and would definitely recommend it to someone!

Excellent links

Really nice links course - as expected the fairways are undulating, greens are hard / fast and rough is long, but compared to some other links I have played it wasn't that punishing. The course is on Bull Island and we were blessed with the weather - it was sunny all the way round but the wind did play a factor.

There were no real standout, signature holes (maybe par 3 17th and par 4 18th), but each hole was nice variation.

We booked on Golfnow and got a great deal (half price for the time/normal rate) so value for money was excellent.

Enjoyable but tough course

Played on a pet day with no wind to contend with. Some tricky par 3’s and tough bunkers. Would recommend.

Immaculate greens

Lovely course to play, I got a deal on Fathers day for 4 ball. Greens and fairways were in pristine condition. Only negative was a four ball in front of us were the slowest I've ever encountered, held the whole course up, with no intention of letting anyone play through, but I suppose you get that on any course. Got the deal for €35 a head, don't think I would fork out a €130 a round that they normally ask for.
