Mercer Oaks Golf Course - West Course

Having played a few years back, I was impressed by the improvements and excellent conditions. I played on a weekday, mid day, and found the course to be quite active, yet, never delayed. I thoroughly enjoyed the effort made by the maintenance staff, course looks great, looking to return soon. I rated the condition Pristine, because its better than Maintained. This is a municipal course and it may not have the private course funding, so its a Pristine muni.

Although this course was in great shape and challenging I would not play there again. The starter said oh you guys are from golf now. He also told us they are trying to get rid of golf now because they are losing money. Made us feel real welcome. Always felt pushed, even the hot dog cart rushed us. We were told not to waste time in the bathroom after 9. Then on the 18th we were 150 out and the starter drove by and said make sure you keep pace even though the foursome in front was putting. I will save my money and play at a more welcoming course.

course was in amazing shape. got there early and they got me off earlier than my time time. it was an awesome day of golf!!!!

Played west course for the first time. Maintained condition. Fairways lined with trees and water. Greens in fine condition. Couldn't finish 18 holes so definitely going back to play all.

I played the West course at Mercer Oaks and was very pleased. Very enjoyable round of golf and the course is mostly in very good condition. Pretty course, nice staff with the only drawback being a fair bit of goose dropping around the water areas and on a few greens. Not sure what can be done about that, but as long as you put on your big boy pants it's not enough to spoil what is otherwise a very nice course.

For a county course conditions were excellent ! Had a good time

Played at 2PM on a Saturday afternoon. Course was busy but pace of play was ok. Greens had recently been aerated and were inconsistent from one to the next, but that is to be expected this time of year. I would have been very disappointed had I paid full price.

While most course this summer took a beating this course held up perfectly. The greens were excellent shape and majority of fairways were very good. The staff was very friendly and nice to see Marshall's driving around checking on folks.

Great fairway and pace of play. Ranger is on the course for routine check all the time. West course is better condition than east course due to beat up and slow green. Total of 14 out of 18. Peace of mind is pace of play. Will play again for sure.

Greens were consistent, fairways were in a maintained shape, roughs were challenging, overall a very good golf course. Players and staff were all friendly, staff very very friendly

Nice place to experience links golf just a short trip from your front door. Course well maintained, greens rolling nice. A few could be better but not a enough of an issue to complain about.

The coarse was well maintained the staff was very helpful I added another player the same morning and they gave me the same price that I booked online. even though they didn't have to they were very helpful. I already recommended this coarse to many of my friends. We will be back!

I would give 5 stars but almost every bunker was underwater (obviously from the torrential rain we had). As well as noise from the Mercer County Park right next to it on 2-3 of the holes. Awesome course though, different feel than most I play around the area.

This course offers a beautiful setting and playing your own ball, can be somewhat challenging! Although I LOVE to play, I'm just not that great, so to keep me from getting so frustrated, we play best ball! This course I would recommend to anyone for challenge, beauty, and the staff is so friendly. The bar ladies are not only sweet, they make the best tasting drinks around!

Got to the course, the parking lot was full. However, we never waited on any hole for the group in front of us. Very efficient at putting golfers out to play. The course was tough for your average golfer. The ruff made it hard, along with the fast smooth greens. 3 putting was very common in our 4 some. I would go back there again, because it is one of the nicest courses I have played anywhere in the last year.

I always like this course. Great value. Staff is helpful, members are friendly. Nice 19th hole.

Fairly open but challenging. Some short par 4's are broken up nice. Greens were blotchy but played like glass. Great experience!

This was my first experience on Mercer Oaks West. I had a great time. The course was in excellent shape. Being 65, my friend and I played from the senior tees which made the experience even more enjoyable as I could use my driver then a mid to short iron into the greens. I highly recommend this course.
