Open link style layout
The course is in good condition, It is an open linkstyle layout.. During peak summer the fescue can really be a factor. Greens are quick. from the back tees it is a handful at over 7000 yards. From the Blues it plays over 6700.. The staff is friendly. the bar in the club house is equipped.. all in all a good place.. it is a public course but one of the better ones in central jersey. its twin the West course is more traditional with more tree lined fairways.
good place
good course, and well run. would do it over and over.
Mercer Oaks
This is your average golf course, typical cow pasture. There is nothing to rave about here. There are no benches to sit down and rest between holes, and no water in the ball washers. The course conditions were ok and the course layout was just average. There are many other courses in the area that are better conditioned, and a much better value.
Went Back the Next Day!
This is a Mercer county course that can rival the area's private clubs but without the hefty price tag, especially through GolfNow! Played the West course on Sunday and had to go back to try the East course the next day. Both courses are very well maintained with fast challenging greens. Some very memorable holes like the par 4 hole 9 with the approach shot over a large pond.
Nice course, friendly staff, great value.
Very nice muni course, good layout, great condition for late season, great value for the money.
This course is difficult because of it length for an older player and the soft conditions because of the recent rain.
I have played this course a few times a year over the past twenty years. It is a good public course. I don't find the staff more than average in frendliness
