Bar shut greens poor
Thought the overall care of the course was not brilliant. Greens were patchy and the areas around the tees could have had a trim. When we finished playing, we went up to the bar for some food and a pint, only to be told it was shut, no one was available to open it. I think if this is the case then the course should let you know at time of booking. We wouldn't have booked it and won't be going back. Really poor after charging £35 per person.

Very friendly staff and course was in decent condition.green need a little bit of work but great day overall.
Enjoyable and challenging
Really enjoyed the round at clays, course is in really good condition. Some holes are really challenging. Only downside was that as a first time player there i found the course layout confusing. There weren’t enough signs showing location of next hole. Ended up playing 9, 8, 7 as we followed group in front. Our mistake really
Keeping the swing going
The last time I played here the course & greens weren't great 2023, 2025 I couldn't have picked a better course for £35 absolutely perfect, will be back

Rapido Greens
Brilliant, friendly place to play. Picturesque, interesting course. Well maintained and superb greens, too good for us,; best and most dufficult ive played on !!
Lovely course with very well kept greens
Played this course with my 14 year old son. We have only just both taken up the game and the forgiving width of the fairways allowed us to not feel we were facing an uphill battle! Loved the pace and trueness of the greens
Tight course, good challenge
As a 25-30 handicapper I found this course a tough challenge. It’s a short course but you have to be accurate. Greens were in great condition. Most of the bunkers raked, a few GUR after the heavy rain. Excellent value for money at £21 and pace of play pretty good too, would visit again
Lovely little course. Had a few hours to kill and this was the first course near me to pop up. Lovely welcome at reception, with a quick run through of the course. Facilities looked great but didn't get a chance to use them. Met two people (maybe members) on the way to the first who were so friendly and nice. The course itself plays nice, fairly forgiving in my opinion which was great for me. Would love a few more hazards, but still a lot of fun. The 16th and 17th were a good challenge for me as a beginner! Loved it, would definitely come back again.
What a course
Wasnt expecting the course to be in such a good way with all the rain but is was spot on.. a phew spots of soft ground but other wise it was great..the greens were very challenging and in perfect knick I would definitely recommend this course to any golfer....
Hidden Gem
Lovely course, probably gets overshadowed by Wrexham Golf Club. Testing holes, good variety of shots needed and in really good condition. Good value for money, recommend highly. Only downside are the bar/food for after are lacking a bit.
