Padeswood and Buckley Golf Club

A challenging but beautiful course with picturesque holes at every turn. Staff in the club shop were extremely helpful and friendly, giving us advice as our first time playing and checked in with us at the end of our round. Member/other golfers were very friendly and welcoming as we spoken to a few on our way round.

With no rain for weeks, we had reservations about the condition of the course, these reservations were unfounded.

The sun had obviously dried the course out, but it played really well and the greens were excellent with plenty of watering.

The staff and members were really welcoming, we will be back.

Nice course and friendly staff, just need to put few bins out around the course , only ones I could find were at the club house.

This course is in really good condition for all the rain we have had it is narrow and challenging and the greens were brilliant really enjoyed the game an will definitely be back big thumbs up 👍

First time playing the course, winter tees in play and some temporary greens but overall the course was in good nick and was excellent value for money. Thankyou to Brian and Nigel, 2 members who asked me to join them and play 3 through 14 with them, a friendly warm welcome. Would recommend.

Lovely course with some interesting holes and great greens

Really impressed with this course. Great (fast ) greens. Plenty of thinking to be done around the course,will definitely be back

The course is stunning and really well kept, especially considering the dry season we’ve had. Staff were really friendly, especially the club Pro who was really accommodating. Practice nets and putting green available to warm up. Decent pint of Guinness and even had female clothes in the pro shop!

Course is pretty flat and offers a great challenge with no holes playing the same way. Really enjoyed it.

Really great course. Good test of skill. Not just a ‘driver,iron, putter’ layout. You need to really think about your position on holes. Greens were superb, running true and fast for this time of year. Got lucky and only paid £22 on last day of winter rates by the looks of it. Well worth the 45min drive and will be back in the summer. Pro shop staff were very friendly.

First time playing this course and would certainly come back again.

I am going to recommend it to the golf society I am in.

The Club are currently making improvements to the drainage which is already having a positive effect.

Unfortunately my pace of play is not really quick enough so ended up holding a few guys up but they happily passed through when offered.

Great condition for time of year. Lots of work going on new greens new ponds. Mark the Proffesional very helpful. Catering and bar staff great and food was superb

Nice layout and in great condition for time of year. Only 10 holes open due to the amount of rain recently however this did not take away any enjoyment. Definitely recommend.

4 of us attended 10.56am, all members at various courses, this place knocks the spots off our clubs, well done green keepers.

Certainly be coming back, great value at £18. My course charges £25. For non members.

Good enjoyable course good condition for this time of year , biggest issue was the slow play a lot of waiting on the tee and fairways which was a shame
