Lovely course with some interesting holes and great greens

Really impressed with this course. Great (fast ) greens. Plenty of thinking to be done around the course,will definitely be back

The course is stunning and really well kept, especially considering the dry season we’ve had. Staff were really friendly, especially the club Pro who was really accommodating. Practice nets and putting green available to warm up. Decent pint of Guinness and even had female clothes in the pro shop!

Course is pretty flat and offers a great challenge with no holes playing the same way. Really enjoyed it.

Really great course. Good test of skill. Not just a ‘driver,iron, putter’ layout. You need to really think about your position on holes. Greens were superb, running true and fast for this time of year. Got lucky and only paid £22 on last day of winter rates by the looks of it. Well worth the 45min drive and will be back in the summer. Pro shop staff were very friendly.

First time playing this course and would certainly come back again.

I am going to recommend it to the golf society I am in.

The Club are currently making improvements to the drainage which is already having a positive effect.

Unfortunately my pace of play is not really quick enough so ended up holding a few guys up but they happily passed through when offered.

Great condition for time of year. Lots of work going on new greens new ponds. Mark the Proffesional very helpful. Catering and bar staff great and food was superb

Nice layout and in great condition for time of year. Only 10 holes open due to the amount of rain recently however this did not take away any enjoyment. Definitely recommend.

4 of us attended 10.56am, all members at various courses, this place knocks the spots off our clubs, well done green keepers.

Certainly be coming back, great value at £18. My course charges £25. For non members.

Good enjoyable course good condition for this time of year , biggest issue was the slow play a lot of waiting on the tee and fairways which was a shame

For only £20 the value was fantastic. Everyone in the pro shop and on the course was very friendly and had good etiquette. Despite the heavy amounts of rain last week the greens were some of the best I’ve played , very fast and true. Fairways also held up very and were in better condition than most courses at this time of year. Definitely going to consider a membership after this experience 👍🏽

Ground is getting softer now so I always take that into account in winter but the course was in good condition especially the green fast for this time of year very well maintained course was a challenging one I liked 14th par 3 the most

Played on a Friday morning. Pro shop was excellent, given advice about hidden hazards and when to lay up. Condition of course and greens were exceptional. Worth every penny.

This course is in amazing condition, only criticism is the holes 14,15,16 seem to bottleneck due to the layout but let that not takeaway from the course and the clubhouse…. Amazing value for money on and off the course with a great bunch of people around the club…. Best greens I ever played on in the northwest by a mile …. Will definitely be back
