About
Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

Nice course, great shape !
My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this course again. Nice shape, good value and not a lot of interference from workers. We will definitely play again.
COURSE CONDITIONS IMPROVING
Greens and fairways are in good to excellent condition. Some of the tee boxes need some attention, and it looks like that is presently being done. Overall. course conditions have improved immensely over the past month. Will be back!

Classic Donald Ross course
This is your classic old school Golf Course. Fairways are generous greens are elevated and bunkers are deep. Due to the rainy season the course has been wet but seems to be drying out. If the greens were cut and rolled should be a great layout challenging course from the blue tees
Great course.
Awesome day...could have gone without a staff member coming out and telling us about slow play. We were a 4 some playing best ball and the on cart monitor had us ahead of pace of play all day. His mindless addition to our day was un needed. Geo shut off on the carts was a bit over jealous, on the cement the cart stopped 3 times?
Calling this course a dog track would insult dog tracks
There is literally nothing good to say about this course. Even the new golf carts do not work correctly. They constantly stop working even when on cart. The fairways and greens are all patch work. Mud everywhere. Not sure how there is any good reviews.

Wanted to play 9 holes and started off the back 9. Cart paths only which I understand. It was almost 8:30am and guys were cutting grass and leavings heaps of wet grass everywhere. Had to wait until they moved or stopped mowing. Usually there are 2 par 3's on the back and there were 4. I saw soggy conditions but this was bad. Other courses dont have this issue. I know it rains in Florida , but not a fun day for me.
Needs a bit more time
We were told at check in due to water on the course, they converted 3 holes into par 3s. Greens were healthy but definitely slow. No reason greens can’t be mowed and/or rolled to offset the setup of course. New cart fleet with GPS and Bluetooth is a plus!
Tough day
Unfortunately heavy rain the past few days made only nine holes playable. It was not the fault of the course but I would like a credit on my tee off fee as I only could play selected holes.
