Dunedin Golf Club

When we arrived at the golf course there were not any golf carts available. We were not able to tee off until 35 min after our tee time. They overbooked. We had an afternoon tee time and we were not able to finish all 18 holes.

Very scenic with 100 yr old trees dotting the course. Very nice and well kept houses surrounding entire course.

Very enjoyable track. Some of the fairways were spotty but the greens were nice although not super fast but okay. Rangers kept pace of play going. Sand traps in great condition. Fun to play and will go back again.

Former home of PGA. Donald Ross design. The greats, Ben Hogan, Sam Sneed, Bobby Jones, Babe Z... Walking in the footsteps of Legends! Priceless!

Visitors aren't appreciated, some members think they own the course. A member had no bag and hit about six ball off of 2 and was mad when I went around him?. I thought he came out of the neighborhood ,like the two walkers getting residing not playing golf that were trespassing
I wont go back. They can pay their bills through the members..........

We truly enjoyed playing this course.The staff was friendly and although we played behind four older ladies we were not held up & played the course in less than four hours.The traps were well maintained and the course in general was in great shape.

play was slow, took 4 1/4 hrs to play 18 holes. had to wait on every tee. greens are raised which is typical of a Donald Ross designed course, and in very good shape, however they were slow and needed to be cut. fairways were average at best, with many bare spots and just poor grass. lots of trees and sand so course was challenging. was a great value compared to other courses in the area. would play again if couldn't find another recommended course.

Dunedin is a very nice course and we enjoyed playing there. Course is well-maintained especially the greens ....very nice and "green". Some elevated greens and not a lot of sceneries though! The starter was kind enough to let us go earlier as we had to catch a flight home. The only draw-back is we had a 5-some before us and we had to wait quite a bit. I questioned why the club allowed a 5-some to play and we were told that they were long time members of the club and they were good players and wanted to play together. Aside from the wait, we didn't really mind as they seemed to be very nice gentlemen.

Course was in fair/good shape, possibly due to unusual cold. Greens were in good shape and faster than appeared. Pace of play was under 4hrs with a foursome. Former home of the PGA needs a little TLC, but overall a great value.

Friendly staff but course conditions were below average regardless of the price. Many fairways have no turf and were very muddy

Don't know why people rate so high. Played at Seminole and East Bay conditions much much better.

The average player can enjoy this classic course.
Watch out for the bunkers however. Greens are very quick so be in control of your putting pace. Good shots will be rewarded.

Wife and I showed up to bright sunny skies and temps near 63 degrees with very little wind. The guy in the pro shop was very nice and welcomed us to the Course telling us where everything was located.
We loaded the cart and followed the signs to the #1 tee. The started was very friendly and explained a ladies 4-some should be out soon and we could putt until it was our turn. Wasn't 5-mins when he shouted at us waving us off.
The course was in good shape after a lot of rain the week before. 4- holes were cart path only but was very playable. We really had a blast trying to knock the ball out of several well maintained sand traps. The greens were true and elevated just like you would expect from a Donald Ross Course. Great time!!!

Greens were putting straight and true. They would hold a good 7 iron on the green. Looks lke they added sand to the traps for consistent play out of it. The staff was helpful and the inside restaurant was friendly and courteous. Cart service was frequent and nice.

Keep it straight, though not a lot of water there is woods an OB's.

Enjoyable played two days in a row. Great Florida course I would say it is must go to course

As a new golfer, Dunedin Golf Club lived up to every expectation of the Florida golf experience. Gorgeous fairways and greens. Friendly staff made me feel welcome although I was a single, beginning player. I would recommend Dunedin Golf Club to anyone wanting the perfect golf experience.

This was the best golf course played in over a month. Greens in perfect condition. Running close to 11. Awesome . Plated in 3 hours as a twosome. Will play again soon. Really lucked into this deal on Golf Now

I play Dunedin Golf Club every time I go to the Dunedin area and I usually play it three or four times within two weeks... the staff are great the course is challenging and the greens are the best within many, many miles.... John F and his staff are great hosts and I will be back again in late December and if not then, in March..... cheers Dunedin Golf....

This course has the length and challenge for every golfer including scratch. You will not be disappointed!

There is no pitch & run. You had better practice up on your short irons directly to the green !!!! They hold but they are fast !
