Dunedin Golf Club
About
Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

Excellent test of golf
The course was very challenging and in great shape. The pace was a little slower than normal but was well trapped which slows down play. PGA of America was located here back in the 40's and 50's and is a Donald Ross original.
plesant experience
As a novice player this course was a challenge to play. Fairways, roughs, greens and sand were in excellent shape. Back nine more difficult with water in play. This was my first time on course and will play again.
Great greens, nice layout. class course.
This was one of the nicer courses around. Worth the ride from Tresure Island.
Classic Donald Ross beauty
Dunedin golf course is one of the best courses in Florida. It has a long and storied history, it is always in pristine condition and remains a challenging classic design. I have played the course many times and it is always great. It is very fair but if you get slightly out of position it can be very difficult and the greens are very challenging.
Beautiful and playable course. The greens are fantastic
I Can't wait to play it again and again. Great course that's enjoyable to play and the people are friendly. The greens hold well, have good speed and run true. Sand Traps are consistent and almost fun to play out of.
Well maintained with very fast difficult greens.
Course was very busy but starter made sure we all tee-ed on the allocated time.
Enjoyable but thirsty day.
Beautiful day for a great round on a very nice course. Only negatives were very limited drinking water on the course, and at no time did we see a beverage / snack cart.
Iconic course well maintained.
This Dunedin course has been around a long time and has a lot of history to it. The ground crew does an excellent job of keeping it up to shape. It is not that difficult of a course for an intermediate player but the pace of play doesn't accomodate a beginner graciously. I play it often in the summer but it gets crowded during winter.
Very nice staff!
Enjoy the golf with nice staff and beautiful course.
Great course, Open fairways
Fun course with open fairways. Some challenging holes. For those who do not have straight drives, wide fairways offer some forgiveness. Good for all levels of player.
Dunedin Country Club.
In great shape. Greens and fairways are in great shape.
This course will make you pull out every club in your bag, which is a blessing.
For a course that once hosted PGA events it is worth the money you pay. Some of the T-box‘s were in bad shape, but the greens and fairways were in great shape. I wasn't too happy with some of the slow play because there was a group of 5 in front of us and no ranger to complain too.
The course was in great shape
Course was fun to play, some tough holes, greens were excellent.
Great views ans space.
This course is very nice and well maintained. I enjoyed my round.
a great course that drains and is challangeing?
the course has been our favorite all summer. the paradise card and now golfnow has given us the opportunity to play it most weedends........ most of the other courses in the area are under water...........enough said.......... and the staff is fantastic............
nice golf course. plays long.
nice golf course. plays long. open fairways. lots of trees.
Great course
This is a very good course to play. Fairways have ample landing room, greens are smooth, firm and relatively flat. Heavy rains in previous days required most holes to be cart path only, however the fairways were still very playable. The course is well worth the money paid to play.
First time at this course
This course is very well maintained. Greens are in fantastic shape. Fairways are very well maintained. Pace of play was perfect. I highly recommend this course, and I will be back.
Great course nice area.
It goes up and down. The back Nine have a Lot of water and are more challeging than the Front nine. We Highliy recomend this course.
