Citrus Springs Golf & Country Club

We really enjoy this course, have played it many times. It’s a little too pricey for us in the winter months but they have good deals in the summer.

Overall the course is maintained well. Highly recommended it.

The course was in terrible condition. Fair ways looked like a cow pasture.

Overall it was a fun course. Greens were consistent-had to pay attention to the grain--a bit slow into the grain but in good shape.. Fairways were average for Florida. Layout was fun; some rolling hills and doglegs. We had the course pretty much to ourselves. Staff was great. Price was right.

Greens were in good shape, but the fairways were pretty rough. Over all a good golf experience. I will play there again I'm sure.

The course needs some work soon as the fairways and cart paths are showing signs of wear. Especially invasive grass patches in the fairways. Some are outstanding yet others are very rough.

Have played many time …enjoy the course layout and will continue to come back many more times…

Terrible fairways,weeds everywhere.You guys really need to cut the rough.3 ft high in a lot of places.Spend as much time on the rest of the course as you do on the greens.Sand traps as bad as can get.Love the layout .To bad overall condition is not improving.

The water coolers were nasty. Someone will get sick.Staff was told did not care said well the water. Is free.

First off, the trailer/clubhouse bathrooms were horrible. Held my breath using the washroom. HORRIBLE. Second, course tee boxes are basically sand with grass sprouts. The fairways are half grass, half crabgrass tuffs or sand. Bunkers? Wet/hard playground sand. Greens? Very flat, but surprisingly good shape, provided you cleared a path through the fallen pine straw. I would recommend playing this course, however, as the layout is pretty fun with lots of risk/reward options, it’s cheap, and pretty open to play whenever with good pace.

Great Greens.Fairways need some work, tons of weeds.Sand traps poor for the most part.In conclusion,take care of fairways like you do the greens.

I say not worth the fee because I got a discount from tee off that came to $27. But that was not the usual rate. It's even higher than that. So for the rate that I paid it wasn't worth the money so definitely what they're normally charging not worth the money. The only good thing I would say was that the greens were fairly good shape. But the fairways were terrible with a lot of crabgrass weeds and most all the tea boxes were terrible. Sorry to say this but that's the way it is. Definitely looks like they need to put more money into the golf course if they want to improve their business.
