Tee boxes
I played here about 2 months ago and I thought they were doing a good job on the greens and fairways but I just played yesterday and they are going down hill fast tee boxes were bad and fairways were rough they need lots of TLC.
I really like this course and I don’t want to not play it anymore. The staff inside are very nice and the staff outside are scarce ( maintenance ).
ok for the price
Fairways were patchy. Greens were ok. Didn't expect much for the price. Met expectations. Some challenging tee shots from the back tees made it better.
Played this course 2 weeks prior and was in a lot better condition . Booked leagues before us and pace was slow. 45 min delay on tee time . Tee boxes had hardly any grass on them and fairways had alot of sand in it. Better times ahead I hope.
Coming Along
Fairways decent. Most greens decent. Tee offs need work. Traps terrible. You can tell it was a well designed course. The potential for a very good course is there. I’d recommend it.
Excellent
Course was in great condition. Great layout.
Will definitely play again .
left handers dream
Priced for seniors to get out and play and enjoy golf and a hotdog and a beer.
Hidden Gem
Citrus Springs is an outstanding track.
From the white tees it presents a tremendous challenge.
The staff from Pro Shop to Starter to refreshment personnel very friendly and efficient. Greens best I've experienced in the two months I've been in the area. If you get the opportunity to play it, enjoy as we did.
Best course I have played this winter
For winter conditions, this course is in great shape. Good tee boxes, good fairways, greens were green. The layout had a little bit of everything (except water hazards) and it was fun. The greens were tricky though, I think they might have been over seeded with rye because they were very sticky which putts slow and makes for unpredictable and unreliable breaks. I can’t wait to go back and play the course in spring/summer conditions. I will be back before then and I recommend this one to anyone!
Great challenging course
Greens are in great condition, as are most of the fairways, pace of play was amazing compared to ALL other courses in Central Florida...bonus was the good food on the turn.
Really was an enjoyable round of golf for a change.
