Great Course
The course is in great shape. Nine tee boxes and fairways. The greens were just air rated but still nice. Very nice staff and facility
Held Up
The folks in charge refused to send us out as a twosome and made us wait for another GolfNow twosome to show up and send us out as four.
The other guys were nice but very slow. There were single and double member groups backing up behind us and playing through us. What could have been a two and a half hour round took five hours on a fall day with diminishing daylight.
The greens were very bumpy too.
VINEYARDS
Got off to a bad start. The cashier did not like the fact that I was wearing a sweatshirt over my collared shirt and asked me to remove it. In over 40 years of golfing, that has never happened. It wasn't a ragged sweatshirt either. Once we got onto the course, we found out that the greens had been aerated over 2 weeks before and still had not come back. That should have been listed on golf now. The course was okay but I wouldn't go out of my way to play it again.
Worth the Drive
Seemingly innocent 5800 yard course has lots of trouble and challenging greens. Beautifully maintained. Well worth the price and the travel time to get there.
Good break from the weather
Played alone and enjoyed every minute. Greens are arreated but roll true, fairways were some of the best I played this season.Short course and some yardags off the Tee didnt match up with my G P S
The vineyads
Amazing course, an absolute gem . Unfortunately we were paired up with one person who as an absolute jerk. as a woman golfer I get this a lot , especially when I wind up being the better player . Must be an ego thing . Anyway I mentioned this to the staff inside the pro shop . They said they would speak to him. . I had to leave he became so I intolerable , we left on the 17 th hole ...that's right ..I could not stay and play another hole with him
2nd Class Citizen
We purchased a prepaid time and arrived to the course about an hour early. We were told we couldn't use the range because we weren't members, and although there weren't any other golfers waiting or ready to tee off we were made to wait an hour for our tee time because we purchased the prepaid time through Golf Now
Semi private. They should pick public or private
Arrived 1 hour before tee time but was told the range was for members only and was advised to go practice at another course. Lame. After watching nobody tee off 1st hole and nobody else waiting I asked if our twosome could tee off early. I was told the tee needs to remain clear in case a member shows up. Well, two foursomes of outside play showed up and teed off before us causing a very slow round. And eventually a few members caught up to us and they were stuck waiting behind us. We would have been done in 3 hours if they used their brains and let us tee off when it was empty. This is not pine valley. Bend the rules when it benefits all involved. Ruined a good day.
Really enjoyed your links course!
Really enjoyed your links course! Buddies and I will enjoy coming back to your course, thank you!
perfect all around!!!!!
Couldn't ask for better conditions!!!!! no hold up and course in fabulous shape!!!!
Wow!
A superb private course that is now open to the public combines a pretty tough layout with lightning fast greens. Keep the driver in the bag for most holes. Your putting will be tested!!!
Beautiful course really enjoyed it!
Would definitely recommend , very well kept inside and out and very friendly staff
Nice Course
Had a nice time at The Vineyards. Course was in great shape. Really enjoyed the front 9. Back 9 wasn't as interesting. Lots of short par 3 and par 4's, with no real penalties for bad misses. Pretty easy golf course.
The course is in gorgeous condition.
The entire experience from unloading our golf clubs to finishing up on 18 was a remarkable experience.
I would recommend this course to anyone. It is challenging enough for the expert golfer but is also user friendly for the average golfer. Course is in pristine condition. Pace of play was great, 18 holes in 3 hours. A wonderful day and worth a repeat soon!
pleasant surprise
drove by it many times to play cherry creek when it was not open to public, the course started easy but as the wind picked up it was a real test. i enjoyed it and will make it back there. i couldn't comment on facilities because i went right to the course
Take the Opportunity to play this Gem
Vineyards is a private course that now offers tee times to the public through GolfNow. Take advantage of this opportunity to play here. Great course in perfect condition. Greens were perfect. Not too long, but challenging enough. Great clubhouse and facilities. You will not be disappointed.
Pinch me, is this real?
First off, this IS a private course, with tee times available on golfnow..With that being stated, what a treat!! Pull up to the clubhouse, and someone is there waiting (very nice young lady) to grab your bags and put them on your cart.. The clubhouse/pro-shop/and restaurant are immaculate. Very clean and the cleanliness spills out onto the course! The course is as darn near to perfect this time of year as it possibly could be.. Everything about this course is "true", in terms of greens, fairways , bunkers etc. oh did I mention bunkers? Better have your sand game in check, because course designer loves the sand bunkers.. They are scattered all over the course, making for a more strategic round of play. The course is beautiful but very challenging, so hit it straight, lay up, and enjoy this gem while you still can!
Great place - especially on Hot Deal
Very nice course. Typically semi-private, so it is a great place to get out while you can. I don't see this course staying on Golf Now to allow public play for very long.
I will book there as much as possible.
Well kept course
This course is worth trying for those in search of joining a small private club and it is a priviledge to play as a non-member.
Vineyards
Like others reviews, course is shorter but with wind blowing it plays long from the tips. Trouble all over with sand traps, water and fescue. Beautifully maintained course. Only gripe is don't partner people that don't know each other and force them to ride on the same cart.
