About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Beautiful course with a lot of water!
Course conditions were great and we played in a threesome. Pace of play was great, we finished in 3 hours and 45 minutes with people ahead of us.

Stunning Course
One of the nicest courses I have played in the area. Would definitely recommend! Be aware it is challenging. Staff was great as well.

A Favorite Track
This is one of the nicest s courses on LI! Can be pricey so play off season or on a hot deal! Soggy after rain. It is always in impeccable condition. A lot of variety but not penal. Highly recommend!

Very solid “community like” course.
Greens rolled nicely. Golfers don’t replace divots nor does the course put fertilizer. Tee boxes a hot chewed up hit overall it’s a good spot. At $144 for the runs through golf now it’s expensive for what it is yet it’s the only game in town for higher end course where you can get an early tee time. Most certainly will keep coming back when in the area over the summer. All he help very good and professional as well.

Course fell off a cliff
Played here last year - course was pristine. Played here two weeks ago: greens were beaten up, ball marks everywhere, most greens hadn’t been cut. Nearly a 6 hour round. No ranger. Not worth $80 much less the weekend rate of $150.

Course good shape and greens bumpy. Little pricey for the course. Sand traps should be better for the price.

Excellent Course
Easily one of the best on the Island. Well maintained, cart woman, on course ranger, scenic, rest stop locations, fast greens, grass range... the list goes on. Quite challenging while being very fair!
The only gripe would be that too many balls get thru the driving range onto the course. White balls pepper a couple of holes at key landing spots.

Good thing I got a hot deal!
Layout is sick and unlike any around. However, for them to be charging $150 for greens fees is ridiculous. Just about a 6 hour round, boulders in every bunker, holes/flags/tee markers have not been changed in days. Seemed like no one worked that Sunday morning. Very poor conditions for the price. The layout does not make up for it. Be cautious, you can probably find tons of better options for a much better price!
