Willow Creek Golf & Country Club
About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Golfer Reviews
Great course! Tough pins.
Overall course is awesome but the pin placements were in unfair places. Several in ridges where if you missed long your putt would roll long and off the green. And coming back if you missed long sale thing! If pins were in more fair placements I’d give the course a 5/5 easily.
Outing
I had a small golf weekend with buddies and we played here with 24 players Madeline was very accommodating in helping me set everything up. Very nice course and facility! Conditions were excellent and its a fun course. It is a little pricey compared to others but its not outrageous in my estimation.
Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are thrilled to hear that you and your buddies had a great time. We look forward to seeing you all back at the course - hopefully soon!
Willow Creek Gets Better Mid Season
I play here regularly and enjoy the course. At mid season the course shows signs of improvement. Fairways and greens were in great shape. The goose population which produces large amounts of fecal matter was under control making the round more enjoyable. The wind kicked up making things challenging along with pin placement. Great staff and facilities. Thank you.

sand traps
course was in great condition except the bunkers and weather was fine but windy. greenside bunkers were filled with rocks. not what i'd expect for $80-$90 for a weekday round. sand had always been great in the past.

Enjoyable playing experience
Course in very good conditions; although a bit hot and busy in Saturday morning, it is really value-for-money.

Nice course very challenging but overpriced
It's a nice course with great greens but since covid they have increased their greens fees to be one of the highest on Long Island for a public course. Club Corp has decided to charge over $120.00 - $125.00 for a weekend tee time..
With so many other courses on Long Island people will start to look elsewhere.. It's to bad they are greedy!
