About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Bethpage closed the courses due to the rain so came here. Pleasantly surprised with course conditions and the pace of play once foursomes in front of us got moving. Even though '"cart path only " we finished in four hours.
A bit too pricey for winter golf.
No half way house open but hey, I get it, Its January!

Pristine Golfing
This course is a gem. Everything about is perfect.
Even though it is a public golf course it is run like a private club. Can’t wait to come back to play again.
GOOD CORSE
GOOD COURSE, PLAYED THRU 2 GROUPS, STILL TOOK 5 & 1/2 HOURS. YOU CAN HIRE ME AS A RANGER!
Long Island
This is one of my favorite courses on Long Island. Except I feel it’s over priced and there are no amenities on the course, such as water coolers, GPS, ball wash and shoe cleaning stands. Most of time the halfway house is closed, no refreshment carts and no rangers to keep the foursomes moving. At minimum I would like to see yardage markers added to the course. In closing it would be worth playing at least once so you can make your own decision.

This course is my favorite on Long Island
Its a beautiful golf course with some strategically placed holes. Its challenging and it forces you to play some difficult approach shots, all depending on your ball position from your tee shot. If i were a wealthy man I would definitely consider a membership.!

Willow Creek
Willow is a fantastic muni that All Long Islanders should swing by to check it. It offers a lot of really nice scenic holes. The par three 2nd and par 5 5th are two premium holes that offer a lot to the eye. The course can challenge any HC as the back tees play very long but the blue tee box is more than suitable for the skilled golfer. The biggest problems with Willow are the pace of Play and the greens. Pace of play tends to come to a screeching halt weekday afternoons as you will surely catch the group in front of you by the time you cross over the road for the par 4 8th. This makes it tough for the weekday warrior to get in a round if he hasn’t teed off by 4:30 in peak season. Beyond that the course is very lovely with gorgeous rough, fairways and very playable bunkers. The greens however are extremely soft.
Overall it’s worth it to play. It’s a top 10 muni on the island for me.
Winter Golf
Great track. Always enjoy this place. There was a real slow foursome up ahead teaching their wives how to play. I called the clubhouse and they sent out a ranger to move them along. Was not working so they made them move up a few holes. That worked. Nice young man.

Awesome golf course
Willow is one of my favorite courses out East. Always in Great shape. Winter golf now but greens were rolling great. Course is a lot of fun to play, Water on on most holes, but not large bodies. Course is different from most Long Island courses, has a Florida feel. Love this course and look forward to playing again soon.
