About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Early December
Willow Creek is a good course that is in great condition especially for a December play date. It’s very scorable if your hitting it to the correct spot off the tee. Greens are undulating but easy to read. Lots of water give it a Florida feel. Houses all around the course but they are all far enough away so they are not in the line of play. Play it and enjoy.

Nice layout , scenic holes
A lot of water and sand. A lot of the sand is asthetic and doesnt really come in to play. Very scenic and a nice layout. Played in mid fall with nice foliage. Course in good condition. Highly recommend to play.

Nice Course
Nice layout, good condition. Very goo pace of play.
My only gripe is that there are too many stones in the bunkers. Other than that, had a really good round.

Beautiful but can be slow.
Loved the course. Some tight fairways and challenging pin placement. But last 4 holes were painful.

2.5 hour round
Shot an 89 today, mostly because no one was there and I never had to wait to shoot. First time breaking 90 probably in about 15 years. By far my favorite golf course on Long Island!
