San Carlos Golf Club

Course was in excellent condition and my twilight tee time was priced very fairly. Course was not too challenging but did have some tough holes with big dog legs and water does come into play later in the round. Very nice course and can’t beat the price.

5” of rain early morning Course conditions were terrible Standing Water everywhere Should have sent a mass email notification of course conditions Once I arrived it was too late to cancel and still receive a refund from golfnow so 3 of us gave it a try Never Again

This course requires accuracy off the tee, and skill with Fairway Woods, and mid-irons. Unfortunately, I don’t have much of those things. Greens on the front line were very fast. The back nine less so because of heavy sanding. Appreciate the Marshall that keeps things moving along. This was a fun round and I will certainly return.

Very pleased with the course condition and staff. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. From the cart guys to the starter. I felt welcomed. Front 9 has very forgiving fairways which I appreciate as a golfer with lemonade skills. The back 9 has more water and is a bit more challenging. The greens are tricky with most being on a slope of some type. It can feel like a long course so the challenge is definitely there. Overall I would say it was pretty balanced for golfers of different skill levels.
