Great nine hole course. I live five minutes away and play here often. Typically not too crowded and can walk it out in about an hour and a half.
I enjoyed my round
This is a fun course for a nice walking round. Greens can be tricky. I play here 1 time a year, and I feel the course conditions are getting better. I'll be back next year.
Fun for all
Very nice and I would emphasize excellent for the beginner or novice. Very friendly layout nine hole course. Conditions are getting better each year including the greens. If you are moderate or a low handicapper this would fine-tune your game. Really good “nineteenth hole“ restaurant to get some nice food and a beer wall. I will be back.
Getting exactly what you pay for (in a good way)
Fairly simple course, you are getting what you pay for. The pace of play is always really good, a couple of nice golfers allowed me to play through as a walking single. The greens were the best they have ever been when playing here in about my 5 times playing here. Staff is great as well..
Slow Play
The pace of play continues to be the biggest issue here. The hole by hole layout is tight should you stray a shot. This is the fourth time I’ve played the course and every time it seems people tend to be doing other things while golfing. Which in turn slows play, causes delays and allows no rhythm for other golfers.
The course was just air rated but generally is in decent shape. In addition, this was two days after the heavy rains and flooding occurred in the area. The course drained fairly well. I expect the course to be good shape in the weeks ahead (prime time).
