Ridge Golf Course at Pole Creek Golf Club
About
Pole Creek Golf Club is a public 27-hole golf facility in Tabernash, the only one of its kind in Grand County. The holes are divided into three par-36, nine-hole courses, which can be played in different 18-hole combinations. You'll get a different set of challenges on each course but they each provide a classic round of Colorado mountain golf. On no other nine is this more apparent than the dramatic Ridge Course. As its name would imply, the layout features several dramatic ups and downs. Accuracy is key and having a good strategy is equally important. Golfers will also have to contend with tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers along the greens, not to mention the occasional water hazard. The other two nines, the Meadow and the Ranch, are more mellow and approachable.

Golfer Reviews
Stunning Views on an Immaculate Course
My husband and I played 14 holes of twilight golf on the ranch and ridge courses. Exceptionally challenging bunker positions and some narrow fairways makes for a challenging and strategic round of golf. We will be back. It’s the most scenic course we have played to date.
Love this mountain course
We always play Pole Creek every summer despite it being fairly far away from Littleton. We love the fact that it is much cooler up in Fraser Valley and that the course is so beautiful. The views and wildflowers are magnificent. Although there is often an afternoon storm (and there was yesterday when we played), it often only lasts for a short time then the sun comes back out and you can resume play. The course is in great shape, although a few greens were a bit chewed up. Love that this is now a summer ritual!
Wonderful Mountain course
Was greeted at our vehicle with a golf cart and directions to check in. Pro shop staff was friendly and professional. Sadly this is not always true at other courses we have traveled to. My wife wanted to come back the next day to play the other 9 holes.
Pole Creek
Really enjoy this course. Beautiful views, great course condition, wonderful staff. My favorite nine is still the Ridge Course. I doubt you can find a lovelier course to play than that nine. Wouldn't suggest walking it though.
Everything was perfect!
This is one of the most gorgeous courses Colorado has to offer. The staff were amazing. Our carts were delivered to our car. The course was perfectly manicured. It was all around am amazing experience. We had to drive an hour and a half and will be gladly doing it many times in the future.
Nice Mountain Course
The course has 3 nines. We played Meadow and Ranch. In places the cart path was gravel, but it appears they are upgrading to concrete. The fairways were good and the greens OK. A few of the ones are target golf holes, most normal. We enjoyed our round.
Well worth the drive
At first I was hesitant to reserve a tee time at a course that was almost 2 hours away, but after pushing that button, I did look forward to my trip over Berthud pass. I was greeted in the parking lot by a staff member with a cart for me. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Practice balls were included with my round, and the driving range was open on natural turf. The putting green was a little "Furry" and the putts were very slow. It appears that the greens had been punched in the last couple of weeks, so if you want great greens you have to deal with maintenance. This mountain course was challenging, but fair. The views are spectacular, and the experience was well worth the drive.
Favorite course in Colorado
Had a fabulous experience golfing at Pole Creek! Played meadows and ridge course and both were in pristine condition, the staff was impeccable, the carts were in good shape and equipped with GPS, and my buddy was glad they had loaner clubs available. Overall super pleased with the place and will definitely play here again.
