The Morgan Hill Golf Course in Easton has a somewhat misleading name since you'll find more than just hills on this challenging course. Be prepared to face a variety of elevation changes ranging from subtle to dramatic. The golf course has a dramatic design that is carved into a hillside, which makes it a hard course to walk but one that is visually interesting and tough to play. It may not be a layout for the faint of heart but the scenery alone is enough to provide enjoyment. Golfers can enjoy scenic views of the river, but scenic respite is the only break you'll get. There is hardly an even lie to be found and the severely undulating greens will test even the most seasoned golfers. Also, be prepared for a slew of blind shots at Morgan Hill Golf Course.

Great views

Facility is beautiful.... Staff is friendly.... Course is in great shape and the views are spectacular..... AND The course is hard. No question about it.... VERY difficult. There are more blind shots than not on Drives and approach shots. Many golfers would look at this as a great layout because its like none you've ever seen. The Club at Morgan HILL is built on the most hilly piece of earth ever to have a golf course which creates great views but extremely difficult conditions to score. It's a once every few years experience for me. Not recommended for faint of heart but if you like a challenge... Club at Morgan Hill is for you.

On of my favorite home courses to play. Great course for a reasonable price with very friendly staff. Course is always kept in very good condition.

Great Course!

excellent course...very scenic also
looks like they recently aerified the greens (maybe a week to 10 days earlier)but greens were still good and playable-
the rest of the course was in great shape. if you don't like playing hilly courses you may want to avoid this place but you would be missing a great course.

Great course, challenging layout, beautiful views. Will definitely be back. It will play easier now that I know the layout. Many, many blind shots.

Bad Timing

On the day we played they had 2 shotgun outings. They threw us in the middle and had to start off on #10.

Also the greens were pretty bad and not in good shape. They had just airated but there was alot of burnt out areas. Also just too many blind shots for the average golfer.

Challenging, but Fun

Great course in the Lehigh valley. Very hilly course, which can lead to some very tough shots (blind tee shots, elevated greens, very steep drops on par 3's, etc). Conditions were very good. Course is challenging, requiring excellent course management (can't just bomb away with a driver), but well worth it. I would play here again.

The club at morgan hills

The layout of the course isn't that tough if you can hit the ball somewhat straight because you need to be able to place a lot of your tee shots but the contour of the fairways make it really tough. if your not good at hitting a ball above your feet or hitting out of the rough than it's going to be a long day.also some of the bunkers are like hitting out of the grand canyon. but i'll be back next week.

Very challenging, hilly, picturesque course in good condition.

Very picturesque course with great views and sloping hilly terrain. Lots of sidehill lies and blind shots. High handicappers will struggle. Greens are fast, undulating and in great shape. Better players will have a blast trying to figure this course out.
High handicappers should bring lots of balls.

Outstanding Value, TOUGH but fun course

This course is really interesting the longer you're on it. I was a little non-plussed by the first few holes, but they just kept getting better and better. Links style, which I normally find a little boring and bland, but really well designed to keep your brain working. It's a classic type of 'battle' course, you can't beat the course on every hole, you have to take what it gives you and be smart about the way you play. Even with very little real trouble on the course (only one pond), you can still really get into big trouble in a hurry. Excellent greens, fast and difficult but still fun. Highlights are the 140 foot drop par 3 (though the strip mall in the background ruins the picturesque potential), and the tees on 16 and 17. There are a LOT of blind shots, though, so pay attention to the scorecard's tip sheet.

My only downside: no real range, you hit into a net. Otherwise, even at a full price (40 during the week), this is a TREMENDOUS value.

Very challenging with severe elevation changes and blind shots

The course was in great condition , except for the sand traps which I thought could use some attention. You definitely need your A game when playing this course. It's very challenging with severe elevation changes which require a well thought out club selection.

A fine, links style course

First, the greatest difficulty with playing here for the first time was not being sure of the best line to the greens, especially those greens that are unseen. The greens were in great shape despite the hot weather, and they are very large, so if you are on the wrong side of the green, you can have very long, undulating putts. Before playing here, you need to be aware that it is quite hilly and you are most likely to have many side hill lies. The course was well maintained except for the sand traps, most of which were awful due to storms that had created havoc to them the previous two evenings. It looked as if the maintenance staff had done nothing to repair them on the day I was there. All of the pro shop and starter staff were VERY friendly and the Golf Now value was excellent. Two of us played mid-morning, mid-week and finished in a comfortable 4 hours without anyone in front of us.

Too many blind shots.

Beautiful scenery. Course is ridiculously difficult. Too many blind shots... Definitely a humbling experience but also an annoying one. Unless you are a very experienced golfer, stay away.

Tough, scenic, and great condition

The course is a mountain course with scenic vistas. There are very few flat lies so bring your A game! Conditions are great so one needs to enjoy the experience and don't lament over a "not so

Great course,spectacular views.

Loved the course. Greens had more than enough contour, without any prior experience, lots of surprises. I recommend playing with someone who can give pointers on where to play your shots. Sometimes when hitting a blind shot without a lookout, ball can be difficult to find. Enjoy and don't let the unexpected get to you.

great course

Early tee time will get you through the course in less than 4 hours. Show up in the afternoon like we did this time and you are in for a long day. The water jugs were empty by the time we reached the turn, but overall they take care of you very well. Cart girl swings around about every 4 holes.
Course is difficult, very rarely you have a flat lie. Love the course, bring your A game or your pride is sure to get hurt!

alot of elevation changes

course was in good shape, greens were in very good condition and rolled very nicely, the bunkers were another story, they appeared to have been unattended from regular maintenance, footprints all over. Our tee time was delayed because they did a shotgun start in the morning and would not allow us to tee off.
